Rhys could say for sure that he could cross this off the things he never thought he would do which would be going to a Pandoran bar. But all things considered a drink sounded extremely nice right now. Maybe for a little while he could just forget and pretend everything was all fine and dandy and that he and the others weren’t in as deep of a shit pile as they where at this moment. Dodging several of the people in the building Rhys took up a chair in the bar before giving a heavy sigh and resting his head on the bar counter.

“I’ll have whatever is in the nearest bottle currently. I don’t particularly mind what it is at this moment. I would just looooove whatever you can serve me” he stated not glancing up at who was serving him at the moment. Not like he cared who it was yet. He just wanted to get a drink.

AU where Mordecai becomes Moxxi's 4th husband

he lets her win all the arguments. all of them. at least to a point where they can both stop goddamn yelling at each other. if it’s something he actually cares about, he’ll try and get her to talk calmly about it; if not, he just lets it go.

he tries (oh my god does he try) with scooter and ellie and... her other... two... kids? scooter doesn’t like him on principle, but they get along decently enough. (in front of moxxi, anyway.) ellie likes him well enough just because he makes moxxi happy.

even after they marry, they still flirt with each other like high schoolers. (and also fuck like high schoolers.)

moxxi is a lot more understanding with talon than she was with bloodwing, bc she’s practically raising talon alongside him lmao

mordecai is totally the stupid romantic type who will leave her notes and little presents and dumb shit like that bc he wants her to know that even if hes not always around shes still on his mind and he loves her a whole lot

bonus: moxxi is probably the first person mordecai trusts enough to tell everything (i mean everything) that went down between him and hyperion.

     She’d be an idiot if she didn’t. Every damn bar in Pandora seemed to have      Moxxi hanging on their wall, be it an advertisement for an arena long lost      or... for other tastes. She was pretty sure even Felix had something in his      clutter, but she didn’t pay that much attention to his mess of a caravan.

This was not an unusual pose for the hunter to be caught in. He tended todo this often; he’d be out for days on end, on one quest or another, workinghimself silly and then barely evenmaking it to his bed before he passedout. This is where he was now; still fullydressed, goggles askew, face dirtyfrom long days in the dust. He didn’teven wake at Moxxi’s presence, a clear sign that he was more tired thanhe thought he had been.

This man.  He really was full of surprises wasn’t he?  Coming out on top in the Underdome, then refusing many of the prizes he received from winning said Underdome just to be with her, and now well, this.  Not like Moxxi objected. She returened the kiss, pressing those full ruby lips against his, most likely leaving lipstick marking on his face.  Yep, he was was a keeper alright.

The hunter hummed against her lips, still smiling contentedly as he held the kiss for a few moments. It was  innocent-- almost surprisingly so, but not entirely uncommon from him. He was grinning when he pulled away, giving Moxxi a slight squeeze.           “You taste good.”
