WHAT. How is it possible to hate Halloween?

i grew up with severe anxiety (and paranoid tendencies because of it) so i scare myself a lot of the time and halloween amplifies it. and if i see a scary movie i can almost guarantee an anxiety attack during it and anything that happens in the movie becomes another thing i can be irrationally frightened by in my normal life. halloween is just a really stressful time for me because every other ad or commercial is a horror movie and i have to be really careful 

fun fact: i saw a commercial for a chuckie movie when i was little where a knife came through a wall next to someones head and i couldnt sit next to a wall for over seven years. only in the last five years-ish have i moved my bed back to sit against a wall. tbh i still have trouble sometimes with it
