I was so burnt out on drawing a while ago that I couldn't even redraw Vaati for MYSELF let alone someone's OC commission for them but I'm better now. So pssst comms are OPEN! Check my pinned post for deets.

Redraw motivation go BRRRRRR! Below the cut is a comparison to the original drawing!

I feel I improved the face and his pose. He's a little more relaxed in the shoulders and the wind direction has better consistency. I color sampled the official artwork for Vaati in The Minish Cap to get the more accurate base colors seen in the comparison. I know it's generally a poor idea to use black to shade but i can only have purple darkening purple beside purple so much before it all looks bad so I did use a more black/grey tone in shading his hair.

Both images are also on my deviantART at Mellz117. Formerly RustyMetalViolet, I finally updated my username to match almost everything else.
