I just felt like making something a little more cinematic so I threw this together real quick. Seriously, it took like 5 and a half minutes, don't hate lol. (And yeah I know there's a light thing in the top left corner, sorry)

Battlecraft 4/5/2012
After nearly a week I FINALLY found got my horizontal grid cell to function properly!! I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to fix it and Battlecraft would have to be put on hold...
Batlecraft 7 - Moving On
It's been a while! Almost a week? I guess? Idk, all I know is this is quickly becoming frustrating >.< I WILL finish this though! It's too awesome an idea not to.
Battlecraft 5 - Vertical Redstone
New update! This time about the user interface since no one bothered to give me feedback :P
Newest Battlecraft update :)
So as promised, here's that video of my old server I recorded the other night.

In addition to these I'd like to let you all know that... I'm a moron xD
I fixed the problem I had on the large scale, turns out it WASN'T my computer, it was the redstone timing on the red side. (Though the two cells that did work were flukes due to server lag)
I didn't check my test cell before I copied it in MCEdit, and apparently between testing it and copying it ONE little repeater was changed and was off by ONE setting and the whole thing was instantly screwed. xD
I've identified the problem though, and I'm in the process of fixing all 100 cells.
Next video update planned to have: The above solution, second set of switches for the blue as well as red, a special redstone structure I invented a while back that keeps power on when given input and doesn't stop powering the output until it revives input on a SECOND input location (reset), and POSSIBLY the test cell for the spaces where the ships should be.
Should be posted around Monday night.
One last thing.
My Dad brought up a valid point about the user interface. I was planning on having the buttons along the side of the grid and having the players fly around in their box and hit them that way, but he suggested having them away from the grid in two lines in front of the player with no flying needed.
I can't decide so I'll leave it up to you guys, just comment bellow which you like best.
And I THINK that's all for now :)

Just thought I'd show you around my current server a bit. Not a TON on it, but you'll see my Eye working and this one has a beginning rebuild of Tic Tac Toe. Videos for my older server (Which has much more on it) are currently uploading.
This is my third Battlecraft update in as many days, and things are progressing quickly. I ALMOST had the large grid select system working but I ran into what seems to be computer hardware issues. Remember to rate and subscribe if you want to see more, or tell a friend who's into Minecraft. Or better yet, tel someone who ISN'T into Minecraft and bring them into the game. I have a Google+ page as well: Redstone Engineering for more up to the minute posts on anything Minecraft.
