multiples of ten for dat raf
alright alright alright alright alright!!!!
10. Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing? Rafallere actually prefers less clothing! Most clothing feels weird and itchy on her fur, not to mention ratfolk in the Underdark don’t really have as much of a taboo about nudity as people above ground do. If she could, she’d walk around nude, but the Planeswatch doesn’t exactly encourage that.
20. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?Though she’s fascinated with life and nature and mutations and things like that in other creatures, she actually is really self-conscious about her third arm. Other than that, she mostly compares herself to others in terms of what they seek to protect-- essentially, she likes to figure out people’s motivations and what they fight for to help her decide if she likes them or not. Overall, she tends not to be very self-criticizing, or even self-validating-- she just... likes to know about things, to compare and contrast. She’s technically a scientist, after all!
30. What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?Desecration of the Shards and anything on them is pretty repulsive to her. She‘s frustrated with her fellow ratfolk because of this sort of thing; they tend to destroy ancient illithid/drow relics in the Underdark, while she believes they should be preserved and studied.
40. How does your character treat people in service jobs? Raf acts pretty... not quite authoritative, but... haughty? That’s a good word for her. She doesn’t necessarily believe she’s better than others, but she’s regal and elegant in her actions, and because of that tends to seem pretty condescending towards almost everyone.

somehow I've aged like eight years in the span of two
it’s probably because you’re clean shaven in that photo

Theplatform is crowded tonight. It shouldn't be, given how late it is,but maybe there was some kind of festival or something that Redddidn't know about and now everyone is going home. She sprawls out onthe bench as the platform chugs through the sky, hands behind herhead and hat over her eyes. Of course she's earning some glares fromother passengers, but it doesn't matter. None of them recognize her.Surrounded by people, she's alone, anyways.
23, Tikos
how tikos acts when she’s sick: “i’m fine. i’m completely fine.” bumps into a wall due to being dizzy/delirious. “alright, maybe i’ll actually go sleep for another ten years.”
basically, she tries to force herself through it initially, she might get something done that day depending on how sick she feels, and then just ends up giving up and going to sleep as soon as she encounters resistance (e.g. other people telling her to rest, illness symptoms getting too much to deal with like to the point of vomiting or being unable to stand up, etc). wouldn’t really do anything once she’s trying to rest off the sickness, though with the development of her healing powers thanks to, y’know, BEING A PLAYER CHARACTER IN FLOCK and being exposed to the Magical Power of Levelgrinding, she might be inclined to try healing off the sickness if she feels like she’s still able to cast spells
or maybe she’d call up gnosis and insist C’MON YOU’VE GOTTA KNOW SOMETHING TO FIX THIS, ignoring how he is literally an animate cloak and mask and would not be able to diagnose vague as hell symptoms like “my throat is doing that thing. that weird thing. it’s dry.”
potatoes would be better if they were from megalovania
Taters gonna tate.
A shape-shifter integrated into listron society elects to replace a body part with a cybernetic prosthetic. Do they retain that implant as a rigid constant when they shift, or is the inorganic material as mutable as the rest of their body/interpreted as part of the contiguous whole?
there are some prosthetics that can change shape with the wearer (and thus they maintain any benefits thereof). less advanced ones might just “meld” with the rest of the shape-shifter’s gear/clothes/etc and will fundamentally vanish during the shape-shift but then return when the shape-shifter goes back to their normal form/a form capable of wearing the prosthetic. but others would need to be removed before changing shape or else it could impact the shape-changing process very badly or be damaged by the body changing
obviously, the former two are very, very expensive and difficult to make, but they do exist
