RECOLORING Reduced Color Artwork in PHOTOSHOP

In PHOTOSHOP,:

Load your color swatches (.ASE File) into your Swatches Panel (these should be saved in AI by going to the side of the Swatches Panel and choosing> Save Swatches as ASE)

Go to Image>Mode and change your document from INDEX mode to RGB mode

Set your PAINTBUCKET to the correct settings:

Tolerance= ZERO

Anti-Alias=Unchecked

Contiguous=Unchecked

Go to the side of the Layers Panel, and under your OPTIONS, select: DUPLICATE LAYER (add as many layers as color variations)

Choose your colors and start creating Colorways! The Paintbucket will “Flood Fill” entire areas of color by clicking on any area of that color.

Once you’re finished, go to File>Export>Save Layers to Files and choose either the JPG or TIFF formats)

Bring these files into AI and PLACE them into your garments by creating Clipping Masks (OBJECT>Clipping Mask>Make)
