Agh! I'm conlficted. on one hand I don't think HB would be ALLOWED to go into a funk under BH but on the other- what else would set it off?

Perhaps it's a case of 'both' rather than 'or'? Constance slipped into a witch-funk and Broomhead caught the scent, drove her into more of one until she was properly vulnerable--even using that for her own means the way Starfinder's research did Millie's--and then built her up again in her own image?

Ooooh that's interesting! Yes, I could see that happening. Or maybe her classes drew the unique magic out of her and sent her into the funk, which Broomhead saw as her opportunity to gather up a vulnerable and promising young witch.

Oh I've totally done that before! It's just that I have other things I need to write first and I've learned that I'm more effective if I work on one project at a time rather than have multiple WIPs. I was actually thinking I might do some writing tomorrow morning during the teaching conference I have to go to, although I may have to do some letter-writing first.

...I wonder what H.B. would think about writing smut at a teaching conference... Ahahaha.
