Normally, yes, supers with powers (also called metas) weren’t usually allowed in Gotham. But Jon felt (hoped) that he was allowed more than say, his brother, because he was less likely to tear a building down and flirt with people. And he was Damian’s partner.

He didn’t know Damian was out of town for some Teen Titans thing though when he came by, and was surprised to see Red Robin instead.

“Oh! Um!” He still felt rather shy around him. He couldn’t help it. Red Robin was just so cool. “A-am I interrupting?” He floated in the air just above the other vigilante, peering at him curiously.

             The Golden Ward’s Crimson Lane, home to many of this world’s sketchier characters— an area with a strange sense of belonging for Nelliel, who currently roams one of the lesser-populated sects. She’s not searching for anything explicit. Moreover, she knows how to handle trouble should it search for her. It’s just a few idle moments among sinners and the troubled that she wants, much like she’d find in her home world. Unperturbed is she able to move about the lane freely for awhile. But perhaps it’s that same carelessness that causes her to sense another presence behind hers more sluggishly than normal. She turns around with her hand resting at her blade’s hilt in an instant. A voice both soft and austere demands of the void beyond:

             “People would usually think twice before engaging someone with a skull on their head. You’re following me. Why?”

 “ 'Suspicious’ you say.” The girl said looking don to where the masked man was, descending just so slowly from the 10 feet distance from the ground she put herself with her flying ability. There may have been a number of people who may have called her before but she ended up ignoring every one of them save for this one. The way he was dressed just made it seem it would be annoying if she didn’t do so.

“How is Nu suspicious, I am only looking out for someone. There are far more ‘suspicious people’ in this city to look for.”

There was no way of telling by by looking how long Timothy had been in this city without asking. He’d wager the same amount of time Damian was based off his conversation with Jonathan. He looked like he was adjusting well, and could probably use some sleep, which was hypocritical for Bruce to even think when he hadn’t slept once since arriving.

“Do you have a report ready for me Red Robin?” It was still a funny way of saying he was happy to see his child. Sure he had asked the same thing of Damian, but this wasn’t about comparing notes to see who did better. Both of his children were very different, both smart and analytical in different ways. They each had something important to bring to the table.

“Sooo...” This was slightly awkward-- the building currently on fire behind him definitely wasn’t her fault this time, even though she did happen to be in the area. Wrong place, wrong time? Definitely. Would anyone believe her? Probably not.

She slurped at her soda and pointed at a small cloud of smoke forming around him. “...Yer cape’s on fire.”

  The Joker was no super-powered human radar, but he knew well enough when he was being tailed. After a few minutes of walking in what was essentially a circle just to confirm, he loosed a heavy sigh.

  “Not another one...” First Robin, then another Robin, and now this. “Look, you may as well just come out and kick my ass now. Batsy isn’t here, so I don’t have my usual gusto for babysitting. I’m guessing you are one of his legion of brats, otherwise this is just gonna be plain awkward.” In truth, he hadn’t seen whoever had been following him, but given that he hadn’t heard any puddles splashing, he assumed he was being followed via rooftops, which was so very Gotham hero of his new fan. “Unless you are dear old Bats, but if you were, I wouldn’t have had this much time to talk.” Oh, how he missed Batman... the Joker would do just about anything at this point to be reunited with his one true love.

“Tim! Tim-bo, Timmy...hey....” Bart zooms past the former robin before promptly ending up at his side, leaning on Tim’s shoulder. “Hope you weren’t using 75% of your car. I just put at least 10 furbies hidden in every empty space.

“M fine...” He didn’t do a convincing job of trying to lie, but he didn’t want to keep whining and moping either. Instead he steals a blanket, wraps it around himself, and presses himself against Tim’s side, so he’d be touching him without clinging to him. “Jus’ a bad night. Stupid. Dumb.” Whether he was talking about himself or someone else, he couldn’t say.
