I have been thinking a lot about Jack Dawkins. According to Arlo White’s cheat sheet, he’s an orphan.

Like, my head is trying to figure out his backstory immediately. What happened? Did his parents die in an accident? Did he live in an orphanage? Does he have other family or siblings? Why he didn’t go to Higgins’ Christmas dinner?

This long-haired manbun tall man, who is strong btw (his nickname is Diesel), and placed in center midfield (which means he attacks and defends at the same time) seems to be very protective with his fellow teammates. You guys remember when he was positioned during Lasso Special - he was basically an offence tackler and ready to pounce.

Also remember when Jamie’s father insulted everyone and Moe wanted to throw down? Jack grabbed Moe, prevented him to do any harm. Like, how did he feel to see someone’s father treating his son like that but at the same time he didn’t want the situation to become worse. Such a protector.

He’s an orphan in the team, Ted is sorta kinda like a father figure, and his teammates are like his brothers. AFC Richmond is his family. This gives me so much feels.
