Twitter troll making money off asshole-dom
Remember the furore over the little troll who posted abusive tweets about Tom "Dolphin King" Daley? If you didn't know, or haven't seen it, here's the gist of it.
The person who gave us such wonderful insults as "more bent than a gay person on crutches" is, according to his twitter feed, going to be joining the army in a few weeks. I really hope he chickens out, or is somehow rejected, because the last thing the world needs is someone this stupid with a gun. Excuse me, another person this stupid with a gun.
I've also been told that he's trying to sell some kind of clothing line. I've trawled back through his feed for a few days' worth, and I can't find anything conclusive. He seems to have a rival who's as much of an ass as he is, and there's some mention of selling belts while the rival sells T-shirts. So he's making money off being an asshole in public.
I don't want to live in a world where you become famous for insulting people in the crudest language you can find, and then make money off of it. I know he was, well, not exactly arrested, but slapped down for harassment, at least. But can we at least spread the word that this little shit is trying to profit from marketing cruelty and disgusting behavior? He is abusive, rude, nasty, vicious, and an all-around failure at humanning. I don't think the army is the place to fix him, but he definitely needs some kind of therapy. Are there rehab clinics for people addicted to stupidity?
