The Queen meets the beast’s fangs (1/4)
Reed had asked Rey to join on an OP. He agreed to it and joined up with him a few hours later that day. But what Reed didn't tell him was that Lin would join.
As soon as he stepped on the carrier, there she was, the London Queen herself. Sitting there across from Reed, leaning back in her seat with her legs crossed and a grin on her face. She wanted to surprise Rey.
Rey's expression said it all: he was not amused.
"Let's get this over with....".
He made his way to the seat closer to the door way and sat down, Lin followed and sat closer to him. Rey paid no attention to her as his eyes made contact with his accessory, Rutili, who also sat on Rey's right side. Their accessories had explained what the mission was about, On High was invading again. Enemy sinners and two alpha type ramosas will be involved. Rey spoke up about the Ramosas,
"The Ramosas are mine. Don't get in my way.."
That was an order not a suggestion. Reed and Lin knew how he was by now. Anybody that teamed up with Rey knew the drill: don't get in his way if you want to live to see the next day. Reed kept quiet the whole time while Lin kept herself busy by humming to herself. The time of departure has arrived. It was time to move out. As soon as they hit the ground they took off running, Rey went his own way as he split from the rest. Lin yelled in Rey’s direction as he separate from the group, "Don't get too lonely~!"
Rutili followed while keeping him informed of where the Ramosas were located. "Time to have fun." Rey pulled back his lips to reveal a grin. Demolishing abductors was his favorite thing to do on missions. He brought along his trusty heavy plasma sword, the Excalibur. It was modified to tear off their limbs. Rutili carried a heavy artillery canon, while it looked heavy to carry she was built to be able to handle that amount of weight. He finally approached the first Ramosa, changing his pace from running to walking slowly. Rey closed his left fist, the glowing red and white thorn wrapped around his left arm was changing, this was the result of charging up his thorn to release an attack bind. The first Ramosa spotted him, it stopped and pulled it's body back a little leaning on it's hind legs, it's tail wiggling left to right. The Ramosa was getting ready pounce, but Rey had a way of avoiding the pounce attack by the Ramosa. While still getting his bind attack ready, he moved slowly to the corner of a wall for cover. And just like that, the Ramosa leaped forward and rammed it's head right into the wall thinking it could get to Rey. Nope. Rey is familiar with the Ramosa's way of thinking, they set their eyes on a target and follow wherever the target moves. The Ramosa is programmed to follow afterwards. "...Heh, stupid piece of shit." He waited for the Ramosa to shake it off. Before the Ramosa could look for Rey, he released his binding thorn paralyzing the Ramosa upon impact. Rey ran up to the Ramosa while dragging his Excalibur along the ground, lifting it up above his head with both hands, he stands close to the Ramosa. His legs were paralled from each other, he began a charge attack. Charge 2. Just a few more seconds.. Charge 3. Release! He pulled the Excalibur forward and it landed right on the portable shield generator that usually hovers above the Ramosa's back. The shield generator was destroyed, the sword slash left a mark exposing the inside of this mechanical beast. Rey kept attacking it with horizontal and vertical swings to hold it back. In return the Ramosa leaped to the side and ram head first into Rey, knocking him back a bit as he didn't have time to pull out during his sword attack swings. The Ramosa raised it's big paw at him, Rey leaped and rolled out of the way this time. Pushing himself forward, he leaped at the Ramosa landing the Excalibur to strike on it's back. The Ramosa gets pushed back a little from Rey's attack, but it's not giving up that easily. While Rey is playing as the bait for the Ramosa, his accessory is using the heavy artillery to attack it's wings, it's mechanical feathers are slowly being clipped away, until the wing finally comes flying off. This damaged the Ramosa greatly to where he stops attacking and falls forward. The situation seems to be under control for now, his mental state is calm and he is focused. Rey's accessory alerts him of the second Ramosa approaching. Raising up his Excalibur over his head he responds to Ru, "Figures. I knew I we wouldn't be alone for too long."
"The current Ramosa's HP is very low right now."
Rutili informed Rey of how much health this Ramosa had left, this helps Rey to figure out how much time he needs to get rid of this Ramosa first before handling the second one. "Requesting premission to target 2nd Ramosa." While Rutili was talking to him, Rey delivered another charged attack against the Ramosa as it was still on the ground, "Request denied! Instead use your combat item!" Rey grit his teeth together as he yelled out his commands.
"Understood. .... ...the Ramosa's attack is increasing." Rutili listened to what she was told and used up a auto-resuscitator item. Not only does this help Rutili get revived without Rey's help, but this also implied something else. It means Rey was going to have to take on two Ramosas at the same time, letting his battle maniac self let loose. "....the fun time is here." The injured Ramosa jumps away from Rey, once it gained distance away from him, it began leaping from side to side trying to knock down Rey with this body. Rey dodged it out of the way, but he wasn't in the clear just yet. The 2nd Ramosa came charging at him at full speed, he released his thorn letting the end of it make contact with the ground, once Rey felt that tight tug he let the thorn reel him in, avoiding the 2nd Ramosa. ----- Thanks to @reed-mathis for letting me borrow his characters!
