Peggy: "It reacts!"
Ricky: "It better did! You fed it a whole dollar!"
Ricky: "Where do you pull? Do you reach into the mist or what?"
Peggy: "I suppose so." *reaches in* "Gimme the goodies!"

Peggy: "Argh! They aren't making it easy to grab something from this machine!"
Peggy: "But now I must go. My folks are probably worrying sick by now!"
Peggy hadn't come far after turning around at Mother Hulda's doorstep, when she reached an iron fence.
There was no gate anywhere in sight, and the fence stretched endlessly to the left and the right.
Peggy: "No fucking way! I would have seen this while walking up to the house. She can't have built it while we have spoken, not even with magic. The fence must have been concealed all the time. Makes one wonder what else is here, hidden from sight... Okay, Peggy, don't panic... don't! panic!"
Peggy found the breakfast table as dirty and cluttered as she had left it.
Mother Hulda hadn't lifted a little finger while the girl had been away. Had she forgotten? Grandma Dorothy was like that, sometimes. There were days when Gavin's mother looked... lost for lack of a better word. On the other hand grandma Caroline, on papa Daniel's side of the family tree, didn't do housework on principle, just like she "delegated" tasks on others whenever she could.
Peggy: "Oh, Mother Hulda, have you already forgotten what we agreed upon? I was to fetch the apples and breads, meanwhile you were to tidy up!"
Hulda: "Don't worry. You still have time to do that before you cook dinner."
Peggy: "But then there won't be time for making apple juice anymore!"
Peggy: "Huh, yes, that's unfortunate. Tell you what, my child, today we will have roast! You know what? Let's have boiled and roast meat EVERY day!"
Peggy: "In your dreams only! I won't enable your shirking duties! There'll be potatoes in the skin for dinner - and everyone peels their own!"
When Jin told his dads that they shouldn’t worry about him “staying down for an hour or so”, they interpreted that as that the boy wanted to dive a lot. You know, going under and coming up for air again. Not literally remain on the pond’s bottom for almost two hours... in a cocoon.
Jin: “Phew! Pupation was LAME. I don’t know how the butterflies deal with this...”
Connor: “Okay, looks like I’m Sleeping Beatuy now. - This one goes out to my faraway princess!”
The question is who are the fairy godmothers - Daniel, Gavin and Tina?!

Canter Cottage was decorated for Christmas and they had brought the presents with them, only the snow was missing, but there hadn't been snow in Detroit following their visit at the Fairy Tale Land either.
Peggy: "Mother Hulda is sooo lazy! But maybe we can rent a weather machine closer to the holidays."
Ideally Plum shouldn't even have noticed Daniel's absense for the duration of the surgery, but she did, oh, and how she did!
The day her biped returned from hospital, the usually outdoorsy horse came into the house and wouldn't leave without Daniel.
Yes, that’s the first picture of Plum as a real horse instead of a modded bike :-)
Plum's key traits, Untrained and Piggy, do not seem to exist in Sims 4, so I gave her Aggressive, Free Spirit and Intelligent.

I wasn't tagged, but I wanted to do this. Unfortunately the Detroit sims' best moments are their back and forths, it was rather hard to find quotes that work out of context.
Caroline (to Daniel):

Daniel about wanting a food cart:

Peggy Reed, redeemed grammar school bully, Captain of the hockey team, BFF with the Head Cheerleader (nevermind the bitch hasn’t called ever since graduation), Prom Queen and general teenage idol! I’m a brand, everyone knows me and I know everyone and that’s why my charms work. Your approach is exactly the opposite, you are a cipher. You are basically Anti-Peggy! And that’s why you will succeed all across the globe, except right here at home where we remember how you crashed through a greenhouse roof with a blob of pidgeon guano on your suit.”
