Reel Equality is a project I've been working on at Working Films that we recently launched. The project consists of 6 films for which we have co-developed national engagement strategies. I built a customized Facebook page for the campaign to encourage people in North Carolina to easily watch & share the trailers, make a pledge to vote NO on Amendment One on May 8th, learn about same-sex equality and organize community screenings of the films to mobilize their own towns.
It's a timely and exciting campaign and I'm really excited to be working on it. We have already garnered the support of Equality NC and HRC as partners.
