REES STOP DIGGING UP BIG ASS TRUNKS BURIED BY THE TRAIN TRACKS THE PARAMAFIA IS GONNA TAKE YOU OUTTT
Why are you looking at me idk what the fuck you're doing either
You finished your phalloplasty like a couple months ago bro GO EASY ON IT
It's tiiime.
Anyways this is a fucking insane read so... go ahead and put on your essay cap and look below the cut.
Andi Dimmonds will be written out in a reblog so idk look for that for his lore.
Rees Loutre was born and raised in the 7th arrondissement of Paris into the Loutre family (old Catholic bourgeoise, old money, Gaullist, etc. etc. etc.)
Fun fact: Loutre means otter in french.
And Rees is Celtic/Brythonic with it's etymology stretching back to mean 'ardor/enthusiasm'.
So Rees' name means enthusiastic otter :)
Anyways, Rees was born intersex (46,XX/47,XXY mosaicism)
I'll explain what this means.
So most people have all the same chromosomes in all their cells. Every single one. Mosaicism means that one individual can have different chromosomes in different cells.
It happens when a chromosomal error happens during like early cell division and whatnot. Not at conception, but like when you just start becoming more than one cell.
This can sometimes happen if the father is intersex, which in Rees' case, is true, because his father has (undiagnosed) Klinefelter Syndrome
To explain the weird numbers and letters, 46,XX is the typical female chromosome. Completely normal.
47,XXY is the Klinefelter chromosome. His dad's.
So Rees has mosaicism for Klinefelter chromosomes and female chromosomes in his body.
Through karyotyping, the medical projection was that although Rees was born with internal testes and no ovaries, he would likely grow up and develop to present very femininely.
To avoid medical and social complications, and since France doesn't allow intersex markers on official documents, the recommended route for the parents was to go with an F sex marker.
So they did.
Rees was raised as a woman.
Anyways, so come middle school (college... i'm not typing out the fancy characters just pronounce that frenchly in your head or smth) Rees takes his Brevet (like... standardized testing in french in middle school) and scores a perfect 20/20 (highest score you can get, very very rarely awarded, even 18/20 is considered like elite academically)
Anyways, so the family has an *idea*. Gaullism is sort of diminishing in France in favor of Macronism.
And the family runs in a Gaullist circle. A fading one.
So, they decide that with Rees, they are going to make their entrance into politics.
On a Macroniste platform.
See they chose Macronism not JUST for it's popularity.
Gaullism was a poor choice anyways.
Popular Gaullist candidates usually have a military history in their family, a cross-class populist appeal, stuff like that.
But Macronism... Macronism is centrist, technocratic, pro-European, and progressive neoliberal in some regards.
They have an opportunity to shape Rees into a highly qualified candidate.
So the family didn't... *abandon* their Gaullist alignment, it's just not the ideal platform to launch the first politician of their family from.
Anyways they constructed Rees' whole life around that.
Quadrilingual education. Obviously French and English but also Breton for Celtic region appeal and Arabic for diplomacy with countries in North Africa.
They arranged political internships for him throughout highschool (Lycee), participation on diplomatic entourages into Europe and North Africa, some even extending into Central Africa (for example, the DRC) to expand French relations BEYOND the DRC.
Macron - the man behind the Macroniste movement - was elected as president of France in 2017, which is obviously great for the family. Macronism is going to spread. Whoopee.
Anyways so Rees was genuinely prolific and successful, even before graduating Lycee. He was strengthening relations and rising above his position. It was going great. A family manager for social media to document it all and he's got a small following.
Of course... as a female politician (not out to anyone, still presenting as female. You can't consent to hormone treatments or anything on your own until you're 18 in France, and his parents were NEVER going to sign off on anything when he turned 16. Can't have a trans politician after all)
Anyways, since Rees was so prolific at such a young age and primarily platforming via social media he did become popular with a younger voterbase, so they were missing the older vote if they wanted to launch Rees as a national politician.
That's where President Emmanuel Macron comes into play.
Rees, graduating top of his class from Lycee, launched his full political career as an active civil servant, and was highly successful. Come age 20, Macron takes notice.
Macron's first term is coming to an end soon. He's going to run for re-election, but he needs a candidate to endorse *after* his second term, since he can't run for a third.
And here is a promising, popular young politician running on Macron's very own platform.
Best to start public relations with (the then) Ms. Loutre now. The private arrangement between the Loutres and Macron was rather clear. Macron will run again in 2022, (hopefully) win, and when his second term comes to an end in 2027, he will endorse Rees Loutre for presidential Candidate, when Rees will run for president.
Gives Rees plenty of time to add on to his already impressive political resume.
For the Loutres, though, it didn't matter of Rees won or not. All that mattered was securing their wealth and relevance into the new age. They existed before De Gaulle and they intend to exist after his movement fades.
This move will solidify Macronism in the french political sphere, and by being involved in that solidifcation, they too become permanent.
That being said, Rees had other plans. He's known for a while that he wasn't... *really* a woman at heart. The moment he turned 18, he began scheduling with private doctors. He has deep pockets to work with.
The surgeries were scheduled. Right before going under for his gynecomastia, he deleted all of his social media profiles.
He would be unreachable for hours.
It was national news, naturally. [blank] Loutre goes dark on all platforms, no announcement.
The Loutres were *enraged*. He has sacrificed every careful plan they laid out for him. They cut off every card they had control over and told him to never show his face around them again, he could stay in their *other* home.
This was quite fine by Rees.
Over the next two years, Rees underwent other surgeries to complete his phalloplasty and start testosterone.
His father, in the meantime, took Rees place, and the public story for Rees was... health issues that prevented him from continuing his work as a civil servant.
Rees changed his first name to... Rees. A Welsh variant of Rhys.
And he moved to Quebec.
It was a choice between the DRC and Quebec but considering his political activities in the DRC he went with Quebec. He wanted to be somewhere francophonic but outside of French rule.
The bilateral immigration agreement between Quebec and France made his emigration from France rather easy compared to other options.
Naturally, he wants nothing to do with politics. His goal is to be a professor of some sort at Universite Laval in Quebec City.
He's having a harder time than he expected. Both with acquiring his desired role and with understanding francais quebecois (the quebec dialect of french)
For now, he is a campus assistant. He doesn't *really* want to reveal his principles as an ex-french-politician nor really go over his schooling which is making getting work all the more difficult.
Anyways, he lives in Charlevoix RCM in Quebec, right on the coast of the St. Lawrence river.
Similarly to being sick of politics, he is sick of cities, so he vied for a small hamlet life even though the commute to Universite Laval is brutal as a result.
Anyways, he's a homeowner (deep pockets) so that's nice. And ofc his walls are now plastered with all his favorite media's posters cus it's HIS space so. BL to the max. Psychological horror to the max.
Queerbait media to the max bc I mean. Beggars can't be choosers APPARENTLY.
Anyways he's INTJ and his function stack is Ni, Te, Fi, Se.
Search it up if you care I'm too tired to type allat shit out as digestible info wtf man. No way in hell.
WAIIIIT I SENT MY FRIEND ON DISCORD SO MUCH ABOUT IT!
For Rees only though I ran out of energy before I got to Andi.
Anyways Imma paste it in:
"Rees' MBTI is INTJ, also known as the Architect
I (introverted): Energized by solitude, preferse deep meaningful interaction over broad social engagement, internally focused, spends significant time in his own head
N (intuitive): focused on patterns, possibilities, and abstract concepts over concrete facts. Imaginative and future-oriented, sees what might be rather than what is
T (thinking): Prioritzes objectivity and rationality, puts effectiveness above social harmony, decisions are made through logic rather than feeling
J (judging): organized, decisive, structured, values planning over spontaneity, prefers to control his enviroment by knowing the plan or making on
But yknow that's not enough for me.
SO I GOT HIS FUCKING FUNCTION STAAACK. THAT'S RIGHT, THE DATI
The function stack (what I like to call the DATI) is the hierarchy of four cognitive function each MBTI type uses, ranked by how naturally and automatically they're accessed. The positions are:
Dominant (1st): the core of the personality. The dominant function is the most developed and most automatic function. It's the primary lens through which experience is processed.
Auxiliary (2nd): the support function. Well-developed and and highly skilled, it balances the dominant. (so if dominant is introverted, the axiliary is extraverted, and vice versa). The function most visible to others in an introvert, since the dominant is held internally.
Tertiary (3rd): Less developed, begins maturing meaningfully in the twenties and thirties. A source of characteristic weak spots when immature but this ends up adding depth and versatility when developed.
Inferior (4th): The least-developed function, and the OPPOSITE of the dominant. Under stress, people grip it in immature or compulsive ways. The greatest source of personal blind spots AND the greatest site of growth.
Let's get into it.
His stack or DATI is Ni, Te, Fi, Se
Dominant: Ni (Introverted intuition): a convergent, inward-facing perceiving function. It synthesizes information unconsciously and surfaces conclusions that feel immedaitely certain rather than arrived at through data collection. Instead, it relies on pattern recognition operating beneath the surface. Ni is focused on singular insight, the long-range vision, the inevitable trajectory of things. It differs from Extraverted Intuition (Ne), which is divergent and generative. Ni CONverges, narrows, and lands at a solid conclusion. Rees doesn't gather data to draw conclusions, he arrives at conclusions and finds data to support them. The long-game planning of his exit and the sense of always running several steps ahead internally are symptoms of this. The political grooming fed this, too, since he was trained to think strategically about systems and long-term positioning. He took that apparatus and turned it toward his own liberation.
Auxiliary: Te (extraverted thinking): an outward-facing judging function. It organizes external world through logic, systems, efficiency, and measurable outcomes. Where Ni generates the vision, Te builds the machinery to execute it. It is decisive, structured, and result-oriented. It's how Ni becomes actionable. Rees structures, executes, and optimizes. He doesn't just have ideas, he implements them with precision. In-game, his social perk is 'good at taking care of others'. This social perk would, in real life, express itself through Te. He helps people competently and correctly, not through emotional attachment.
Tertiary: Fi (introverted feeling): an inward-facing judging function. It filters decisions through a deeply personal, private value system. Not social harmony or group consensus, but internal authenticity. Fi checks if something aligns with who the individual IS. As a tertiary function, it is less developed and largely private. Present but underdeveloped. Rees chose his name for its meaning. He kept the key to the house he was disowned from. He wants to be a research fellow because it genuinely excites him. It surfaces in private moments and gets compartmentalized. For example, something not listed is Rees' internalized homophobia. In the story, I intend to have Rees and Andi fall in love, but it will be rocky first. Rees reads BL and is an ally intellectually, but he has never lived as a man while being attracted to another man before. He knows cognitively that he only likes men, but previously in his life, he's liked men as a WOMAN. He grew up going to a private catholic school. All this is not something he is aware of yet. Facing that internalized homophobia and overcoming it and accepting himself without that gut reaction is an example of tertiary functions developing usually in the twenties and thirties. A flaw. It'll be his first encounter with Fi demanding to be heard publicly rather than remaining something internal-only.
Inferior: Se (extraverted sensing) an outward-facing perceiving function. It engages with the immediate, physical, sensory world. What is present, concrete, and happening right now. As the inferior function, it is the weakest and most vulnerable. Rees is not instinctively present in his body or his immediate environment. He has chronic anxiety. This is where it lives. The external world feels fundamentally difficult to manage.
The 'shadow functions' (idk what else to call them. HIs A and T functions) is the key point for where he is right now. His Ni-Te is exceptional and has been trained throughout is life to near-perfection. His Fi is private and underdeveloped. Growth for him will involve integrating Fi. Learning to know and trust his own feelings as valid data. Which is why being in a gay relationship for the first time and learning to overcome internalized homophobia is going to start that growth. That's HOW it's even related to Fi in the first place.
Anyways yeah.
Uh so he's gay. Gonna end up with Andi naturally like that's the whole story.
But he's never been OUT in the world as a gay man, he's always for his whole life been 'a woman attracted to men' not... a man attracted to men. So even though he intellectually is an ally and intellectually understands that he is a gay man and engages in BL content like a lot, there's internalized homophobia. Catholic moral patterning from Saint-Louis de Gonzague (private school in France he went to).
Anyways so yeah that'll be fun for him to unpack.
Rees certainly has the more developed story of the two because he is the less-developed individual of the pair.
I always write duos in this way, my writing style always follows a very eastern-influenced idea of yin ang yang and the chaos of it coming together. And also a rejection of Wu (buddhist idea of nothingness but also a lot more complex than nothingness search it up idk dawg)
Anyways yeah. Rees Loutre everybody.
And obviously I'm playing all this shit out in Paralives bc it's a life sim so it's pretty naturally inclined towards the idea of my more slice-of-life esque characters being able to be portrayed :P
Did Rees kick him out when I wasn't looking 😭
Why is he sleeping on the ground outside.... HOW is he sleeping on the ground outside???
THEY'RE MEETING!!! IT'S HAPPENIIIING!
I'll make a post about their lore eventually shhh
I have a lifespan changing mod for the game so my gay boys have time to fall into gay love at their own pace and it made every young adult a teenager now
so they're just living in a secluded colony of like 98% children in Quebec apparently
Him and his husband
