Halfshadow - Shatteredclan Medicine Cat
He originated from Birchclan, but unfortunately born during the era of Kit Abandonment.
He was an otherwise healthy kit, but his father demanded that he be tossed out by his mother. Before he even received his kit name, his mother abandoned him at the entrance of a fox den. He was found by Shatteredclan’s medicine cat, Limptail, and was raised in Shatteredclan by every mother there. He grew up having nightmares about abandoned kits and predators and would go up to Limtail to ask about them. She decided he should be a medicine cat. He was a very good medicine cat, but served better as a therapist and soon was given his medicine cat name Halfshadow. When he was made a fully fledged medicine cat, he asked about his purpose to his ancestors. They gave him another vision about abandoned kits and he made the decision that he would take up the task of checking and rescuing kits.
He took this one step further to set up a temporary medicine cat den near the place parents abandon kits so he could quickly treat them, with the added bonus of occasionally catching parents in the act. He’s not sure, but he thinks he sees a decrease of abandoning kits. :)
