Hana had very little qualms about showing up at other’s places unannounced. The only people who ever got forewarning where her grandmother and occasionally Beatrice when the shop looked crowded. Even now as she knocked on Regulus’s door at around nine in the morning, she didn’t actually feel all that bad about it. Nine was a perfectly reasonable time of day and Regulus hardly had anything better to do.
“Regulus, I know you’re in there.” She called through the door. “You weren’t at the wedding, and I have prime embarrassing stories to tell you.” That would get him interested, right? Surely. Regulus had a brain, surely that would pique interest.
“Also I brought scones and I stopped for tea.” There that would sweeten the deal. Especially since it wasn’t even a lie. She had stopped for tea (for herself) and she did have scones (for both of them).
