Immortal Beloved / Valeria Golino as Giulietta Guicciardi
The combination of bronze and deep turquoise in this gown is quite striking, especially when you add the shimmery wrap. I'm not an expert on the period, but I get the impression this sort of saturated color is more common in continental Europe than in Britain during this time period.
Costumes for this film were designed by Maurizio Millenotti.
The costume team really outdid themselves this year. This fabric for Colin's coat is just fucking gorgeous!

Why Darcy chooses the green coat- The Revelation Head Canon
This is the scene where Darcy is getting ready to visit Elizabeth in Lambton.
Scene 1(Above): Darcy’s valet fetches two coats but hands him a navy blue one
Scene 2(Above): Darcy chooses to wear the green coat instead.
Scene 3(Above): He rides off to Lambton from Pemberley. This scene offers a full view of his tail coat.
I kept asking why. Was there a reason he chose the green one or was he always so picky about his attire since he has a full time valet anyways. But no, turns out there is a reason- He considers it lucky because this happened :D
Scene(above): Darcy hurries to receive Elizabeth when she visits Pemberley.
Yes, Looks like he was wearing the same green tail coat and khaki (trousers?) then as well :D
Which makes me wonder- Is the white shirt from Scene 1,2 and 3 the famous wet shirt dried later from his dip in the lake?
Infact, I don't even think this is head canon anymore!
Scene 1, Scene 2 and Scene 3 are from Episode 5 and the last one is from Episode 4, Pride and Prejudice BBC Mini Series, 1995.
I just want to mention the historical accuracy in Bridgerton Season 3. The Bridgertonverse. Not our history, but within "The Ton". I love that Lady Danbury dresses notably out of date given her age. All the fashionable young ladies have the empire silhouette, and lady danbury has the waistline but clings to old styles like wearing a hat. I love the hats.

July: Blue Redux (+ Green Redux)

In this scene, Becky discovers that she is bankrupt, nearly has all her possessions seized, and accepts money from a nobleman to pay her bills, getting into an even worse sort of debt.
There's a great writeup of the costumes for this movie at the Costume Vault blog, here. I'll quote a significant passage: "Color wise the designs for Becky center around a very simple idea: the base color for her is red, and depending on her social and emotional state her dresses have more or less red in them. The happier and more comfortable she is, the more red is included within the costume. However, when she is drifting away from her goals or plainly unhappy, her dresses go to darker and grimmer colors." So here, you can see that she is not doing particularly well, being dressed almost entirely in blue--but there is just a thread of red going through it to show that there is still a tiny bit of hope, perhaps.
Her necklace, much like the one worn with her red ball gown, resembles a chain. This is almost certainly also symbolic!

January: Red Redux

This movie attracted attention with its bold-colored, Indian-influenced costume design. While colored dresses certainly were worn in the 1810s, I have my doubts about the authenticity of this particular vivid shade of red. Still, it definitely makes a visual impression, especially with the spangles. The shape of the trim on the sleeves makes me think of the horns on a Halloween devil costume, which may be entirely intentional.
The hairstyle is ... quite something. I don't think anything that elaborate is strictly period for the 1810s either, but my compliments to the hair and makeup department for constructing it!
And while we're at it, I'm not sure about that necklace either. So really, very little of the costume is strictly period-accurate, but it does work purely as a costume.
