Regen SW power culture
work alone or collaboratively to create a 2D piece of artwork and/or text that explores an aspect of sustainable energy.
The resulting artworks will be:
1.Profiled on the website power-culture.com - A blog that explores our energy generation through the arts and is shared via Regen SW’s networks and social media channels with sustainable energy sector.
2.Displayed at an Art&Energy symposium in October 2016 and The South West Green Energy Awards in Bath in November 2016
3.Considered by The Institution for Civil Engineers for display in bus stops across the South West.
CRITERIA:
>Considers an aspect of renewable energy or smart energy use
>Engages, questions, challenges, conforts, encourages OR stimulates the audience
>Meets the technical specifications for the artwork
>Is to be delivered by Wednesday 9th March 2016
OPTINAL BRIEF 2 - Marine Wildlife Champions
The challenge is you will need to select and focus your work on one of these five major threats currently facing marine life:
>Terrestrial Pollution
>Plastic Pollution
>Climate Change
>Over Fishing
>Protection of the Sea
CRITERIA:
>Could you design an eco -friendly item of clothing without the use of plastic anywhere in its production, using only locally sourced materials
>Can you capture the beauty and peril of our oceans and marine life in a series of images, a short film, website or blog post?
>Could you create a sculpture made out of plastic waste found on the beach?
>Could you design a series of posters that make a statement about overfishing?
