So I finally got around to watching Gotham..

I’m only upset that I didn’t watch this show sooner. I was hesitant because I didn’t know how I felt watching a Batman show without Batman. I knew it was a prequel, but I just wasn’t as interested, but given that this is the last season, I thought that I would finally sit down and watch it. I loved it!! Being a massive Batman comic book fan, I appreciated the easter eggs on this show, and introducing live action versions of comic book and cartoon batman characters that have never been seen before, like, The Court of Owls, Firefly, Thomas Elliot, Solomon Grundy, etc. Like any show, I do have my issues with it. My biggest one would be Gordon. No disrespect to any Gordon fans out there, but I just find him massively annoying and self righteous. My all time favorite character is..... Jeremiah aka future Joker. Joker is my all time favorite comic book villain anyway, and I was hesitant about this version, because I heard he was the Joker, but not really, and I was like “Well that’s stupid.” Anyway, Cameron Monaghan does an absolutely fantastic job, and has captured that perfect Joker blend of insanity and vast intelligence. Bravo to him. Man needs an award. All that being said, the show is amazing, it’s a shame it’s going off the air, but I’m glad we’re getting to the end to finally see Batman, the Joker, and all the other villains reach their true potential.
