I decided to try love and deepspace because of all the ads and I saw people posting art of the boys on here and after my phone successfully downloaded all the assets without imploding, I laughed my ass off when I realized the combat in this game was hack and slash.
Something about it was so funny because all the ads were like "Hey yea you can date these virtual 3D men who are fully animated and their voices are constant asmr and you can poke them around and go on dates ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧"
And not once did they mention that you have to fight dragons and have to build like, at least 72 cards to make sure you have all your bases covered so your perfectionist heart can defeat enemies within the time limit even though that's absolutely not a necessity. (You can auto clear resource stages even w/o 3-staring it first which is a first for me tbh)
Like this is the closest thing they get to telling you they have combat. It's this one shot from their play store page
And it does not convey the level of button mashing you can do in this game. I fucking love it.
Also you can get a new battle outfit for your mans if you get 6 4-star cards of him and if you're short one or two, just buy it in the wishing well store using the gacha shards you get after every pull. Don't be dumb like me and spend it all on more gacha pulls and gamble for them instead.
