I've been wearing lash extensions for a few years. It all started as a once off for a special occasion, and I was hooked. Even in the early days when technicians used plastic lashes that almost tore your cornea off when you rubbed your eye (shudder), I could see the effect of a few extra lashes on my face. It opens your eyes up, creates shape and saves time. I don't need to wear eye make up at all anymore. More time to sleep in in the morning- yay! I've tried all of Cape Town's lash ladies, and I've finally met my soulmate. Yes girls, like dating in CT, you really do have to trawl through questionables before you meet The One. I thank my lucky stars for my Tasch. Not only because of her meticulous attention to detail, but because, unlike any lash lady I'd seen, she recommended I use a lash serum to enhance my own lash growth underneath the proud mink lash show she produces for me every 2 weeks. I had tried Rapidlash a few years ago and was very dubious- I applied it at night and woke up bloodshot with "Sandman" eyes. Very yuck. Nevertheless I stuck it out for 2 months, and saw no difference. I might as well have thrown R850 out of a moving car. I'm really rough on my skin- I gym, I sauna, I swim in the sea, I am allergic to cats and have 2, I sleep 4 hours a night, and I have high stress levels. Eyelash extensions aren't insured for such behaviour. Since using RegimA's "Enhance-A-Lash", I've found new lash growth for the first time. It is completely odourless, colourless and has the texture of a serum. The sponge tip wand is super easy to use and there's a teeny mirror on the product with a light up button. I use it at night after cleansing, or if I know I'm going to have a long day with meetings after work, I use it as I would mascara in the morning because honestly I sometimes crash into bed without taking off my foundation. Sorry mom. It's completely safe for contact lenses wearers and can be used on brows and is half (!!!!) of Rapidlash's price tag. RegimA's "Enhance-A-Lash" is available at select salons, and at Tascha's Lashes for R450. You'll thank me later! Love, C xo
