Location: Regina’s Porch Person: AUNTIE @hearthstonc It’s something they need to talk about, Regina hadn’t exactly been a constant presence in his life and that was his own fault. He’d skirted around commitment for years, not just with the Tiber, but in general. He went from one place to the next searching for something that might have just been right there in Rome the entire time. But every single time he’d been back, Regina had welcomed him with open arms, it’d been like nothing had changed, no time had passed. She’d been someone fiercely loyal to his mother and he imagined they both mourned her. When he’d walked past what was left of the Tiber’s at Lupercalia, after he hadn’t been able to finish off Eric, he’d been most embarrassed, ashamed even to step past her. They worked together at the bar, when he’d come back he’d picked up bartending again, but that was work and maybe Damian had kind of…Sort of made a point to keep busy so that they could continue avoiding this talk. But it’d been a long time coming and he thinks that she knows it’s coming as she comes up the path. “Hey.” He offers, voice quiet from his stop on the front steps, his expression somber. “Do you have a minute?”
