John Horsley and Sue Nicholls, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin [1976]
Leonard Rossiter
Ralph could be the new Rupert Rigsby, or, even better, the new Reginald (Reggie Iolanthe) Perrins. What were they thinking with Martin Clunes? Couldn't do more than 5 minutes.
But, more importantly, what the heck were Robert Carlock, Sam Means, Tina Fey, and Tracy Morgan thinking when they stole the title of their show, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, when it has nothing to do with the plot or characters of The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin!?!? I can't believe that at least a couple of these people weren't aware of the existence of this classic Britsit.

Was Reginald Perrin a seminal influence on Game of Thrones?
I’m really just kidding, but everyone needs an opinion on the last ep of GOT.
