Arendelle, tall and proud for a kingdom, but a kingdom that Jack hasn't visited for years. Not that he had a grudge against it or that he found it boring, but when you had a selection of any place around the world, you tend to forget about certain places. Anyway, Arendelle probably missed his winter upbringings lately, haven't they?
Soaring with the wind, he then had his bare feet come in contact with the surface of the kingdom's land. However, one quick glance around could already tell you about the condition of the place. A crystallized blue blanket was surrounding the kingdom, all summer warmth disappearing into the depths of absolute zero. There were citizens, scattered around the area, some trying to find the littlest bit of warmth in blankets and coats or some that were bundled up into groups, attempting to emit enough body heat. The spirit wrinkled his nose, his thoughts immediately questioning on how such a condition could bestow upon Arendelle. But alas, his thoughts vanished quickly enough when he heard a couple of women who were whispering lowly to each other as teeth were clattering. He couldn't make out many of the words, but he did hear a name slip out of their lips.
Queen Elsa.
Was it possible that the queen has caused havoc in her own land? To her own people? In matter of a fact, did she even possess the abilities to cause this disastrous result? It was a possibility that maybe the ice spirit wasn't the only one with powers of winter, but it was a slim one. For someone who was, most likely, mortal and possess these powers... it was something that will only stand as an imaginative thought.
But if it were to be true?
Then maybe a part of him could feel a little less alone.
Curious of this new discovery, he decided to search for the source of the eternal winter. He sprung up, allowing the wind to take control of him for a split second and then fled the kingdom. His first stop: The North Mountain. Why? Well, let's just say it was a little hunch, yes?
It wasn't long until he spotted the one thing that made the mountain stand out. A palace made out of pure ice, even holding a few details that convinced Jack he couldn't replicate a masterpiece such as this. He would have dived down already if his body wasn't holding him back, hesitating him from approaching. Fear took over him for a couple of seconds, causing him to just stay in the air and stare. What exactly would he witness? Or rather, who?
There really is only one way to figure that out. Finally, he got closer to the grand palace, and as he got a better view of the place, he noticed the details a lot more clearly. He skimmed his hands through it, his bottom jaw slightly hanging, leaving a small gap in his mouth. His chest rose from his breathing, and then exhaled allowing him to see the fog that escaped his lips. The immortal sighed for a brief moment, as he entered the palace's entrance, his gaze wandering around and examining. Many words could describe the interior, such as beautiful, stunning, elegant...
fragile.
「❆」— "Hello?" A mere word that echoed inside the castle was something utterly useless and meaningless. He wasn't meant to be seen or believed in, after all.
