The Five Stages of College Registration Panic
1. Denial
Oh no, it can't be registration time yet. That can't be my registration time, I bet other people have worse times...oh no, I'm the last one.
2. Anger
WHY AREN'T THERE MORE CLASSES OFFERED AT THIS SCHOOL??? YOU'D THINK WITH SUCH A DEMAND FOR PSYCH CLASSES THEY'D HAVE MORE PSYCH CLASSES ON SCHEDULE. WHY IS EVERYONE TAKING THIS ONE CLASS??? WHY IS THIS CLASS FULL??? WHY ARE ALL THE CLASSES AT THE SAME TIME??? I HATE LIFE.
3. Bargaining
Okay, if I don't get into this class, I'll just email the professor and beg for a spot in the class, or I'll just take it next semester.
4. Depression
Well, I guess I'm not really meant to do this major. I'll just wallow in self-pity and stare woefully at my schedule.
5. Acceptance
You know, taking this medieval literature class with five people in it may actually be kind of fun.
