Managed to beat Emerald (for the second time) in 22 hours (and 2 sessions) approx. (game said 44:36, but I always had 2x speed). Got all the regis, rayquaza and hard to get pokemons (like pelicanth and wailord, which are needed for regis, 2 sevipers, which are rare pokemons).

And tbh, the emerald post endgame content is so good. You can check a guy at the institute to find a route which has heavy downpour/drought, and you need to search the entire route to find a little entrance. You then find the caves where Groudon and Kyogre live.

Steven's fight is forgotten in nuzlockes (the most popular way to see old gen pokemon gameplay), and I still didn't challenge it, because the regis are still BABIES (lvl 42 compared to rayquaza's lvl 75).

And the battle frontier is the most fun place there is. You have 7 gamemodes, and each is unique. You have a dungeon crawler as pokemon (This is the official gamefreak design. You can have fun after you beat the elite 4), pokemon but their natures control them (this one sucks), Tournaments, their own version of the elite 4 (the 7 'brains' of battle frontier), and a secret (?) final boss.

After you beat Wallace, Proffesor upgrades your pokedex into the national mode, so you can register pokemon from other games. You also immediately get to choose between latios and latias right after you 'finished' the game.

Overall, a great post end-game content, and it's challenging enough. If you read this far: Please give me Emerald Fanfictions. feed this ignorant beast with content

why does ratchet look and sound so young in that trailer i always thought hes like 17/18 but he sounds like hes about 14 in that. then again i guess it could be a different thing like the 1st trilogy of games is vastly different to the 2nd trilogy maybe this movie is seperate

yknow its funny!! because after reviewing the trailers for the games and the movie the voices are actually remarkably different in terms of age. i've never personally played the games but i know that ratchet gets a lot of positive reviews re: his voice so if theyre trying to change how it sounds, thats pretty funky
