You had been out on a hunting trip, on a day you usually didn't hunt on, trying to break in your new combat boots. You had been so used to the old leather molded you your feet, that the stiffness of the new boots bugged you.
After a while you had given up and slung your bow over your shoulder and just started walking. You walked for a while through the woods, and then you turned around and headed back to the river and began to run. The boots hurt your feet at first, but as they started to break in you got more comfortable and started running faster.
