Regressor!Flambae Headcanons

He is a brat. He will always look to troll and toy with his caregivers.

He is a Daddy's boy, he is open to female babysitters but must have a Daddy.

He tears up at being yelled at. If he is being naughty and his Daddy screams at him he will start to cry.

Punishments can include spanking, corner-time, mouth washing but he will implode and cry at being sent to the corner. The idea of being ignored is to much for him.

Is extremely sensitive, with anger being shown prominently. Underneath all of it is a lot of confusion, anxiety, and self loathing. If he hurts his Daddy during a tantrum he will shut down.

He will suppress his powers while regressed and get heat rashes because of it.

He enjoys being praised and tries so hard to be a good boy even if he falls short. He will always try to make it up to his Daddy. Speaking of.

When he is regressed, he will start to speak Dari Farsi or Pashtun, or maybe another dialect, though he doesn't look like he would probably speak any of the other languages in the country. He will call his daddy Baba consistently and openly. He will act clingy and ask for thinks in that.

He has his Daddy wrapped around his finger. He looks at something he wants? He knows with the right puppy dog eyes he can get it.

He is shockingly good at knowing his needs. Flambae will be the first to either come to his Daddy/Baba begrudgingly to let him know he's regressed or he would pad and hide with things his Baba/Daddy got him.

Likes to be called a pet name or by his real name, I h/c that Chad is his American name and not his real name.

Prism, Punch Up, and Coupé alongside Robert would be the only ones that openly knows he regresses.

He will shape up when Robert threatens to tell his Baba/Daddy. In the event Robert is his Baba/Daddy all that is needed is for him to clear his throat/say Flambae's real name to know he messed up.

He seeks comfort and feels deeply insecure about his loss of fingers. He will cry about them and whine about his phantom pains.

Actively seeks validation and will gloat amongst other littles. "Baba said I'm the bestest boy in the world!"; "I got a start for nor bedwetting!"; "Mr. Robert/Baba gave me a sticker for being good!"

Flambae/Chad/*I h/c his name as Baryal or something long and difficult for English speakers to pronounce* is a deeply sweet and sensitive boy. He is ultimately a good boy but has some kinks to work out. He's a happy baby that likes to wear fire themed clothes.

Papamech and Flambaby

Robert was the first to know that Flambae was a little. That's because Flambae hard regressed after their encounter, and Robert had to take a crying and panicking 6'4" toddler to the emergency room to get treatment.

As a result, Adult!Flambae loathes Mecha-Man while Little!Flambae adores Mecha-Man openly. Adult!Flambae secretly likes Mecha-Man but would never accept it.

Flambae lives with Prism, and she was his main caretaker before Robert started working at the SDN. She is still a main caretaker and is a big help, but that job now goes to Robert.

Flambae may have accidentally regressed after setting the fire on the first mission after Robert called him out. The stern voice is a key thing in his regression.

Queue Robert catching on almost immediately along with Prism. He was called back into the SDN. He was put in the corner for his crimes.

Flambae genuinely starts crying and is extremely remorseful for it. Especially when Robert says he's disappointed in him.

Robert begins parenting Flambae after that. He puts extra attention to him. If he's ate, has his snacks, if he's padded or not. Flambae is embarrassed at first and gives his quips. That is until he starts to open up a bit more to Robert.

Robert can handle Flambae's big emotions, with the help of Prism. Flambae is prone to acting like a brat but strives to be a good boy.

Flambae thrives on Robert's attention and is prone to being jealous. He will act out to get Robert's attention. Robert will humor his Flamechild from time to time. When they go to the gym, Flambae eagerly is Robert's spotter. He lights up when Robert praises him.

When he learns Robert is Mecha-Man, he actually cries and throws a tantrum. His adult mind is furious, while his regressed mind is happy that the man that took interest in him is his hero.

Let's just say he has a tantrum and a breakdown and regresses to an age he never does. He stats regressed for a while after and doesn't understand why his head hurts or his heart aches when he looks at Robert.

It takes a good week before he finally exits his headspace. He looks at Robert and he does hit him. But it's much softer and he has tears in his eyes.

Robert apologizes to Flambae, and they have a conversation about that very day. A lot of ,manly, tears were shed that day on Flambae's end. He was embarrassed to admit that he was struggling at that time. And that he was holding back regressing hard.

After talks and conversations it is decided that not only will Flambae go to therapy but that Robert will go with him.

Robert becomes Flambae's caregiver officially after that.

Flambae has bratty tendencies and strives for Robert's attention. He hates being treated like a baby, but he also likes being treated like a baby.

He regresses regularly and casually with Robert. He can easily go from being his adult self to his regressed self.

He goes from anywhere from a 5-7 year old but can go as low as 3/4. He gets flustered when Robert suggests being padded. Though he won't say no to it.

Little!Flambae loves when Robert helps with his hair but is a diva about it being messy. He also gets very upset about his clothes and what he wears. He hates if Robert picks ugly or non matching clothes for him.

While regressed, Flambae loves giving hugs, especially when people are cold. He loves warming Robert up.

Yes, he will never admit that he needs them too because he's a human heater he won't feel any warmth, and his Papa/Daddy/Baba will have to check him.

I like to h/c that he would have to have heat resistant ones because surprisingly, there is a company that makes diapers for super powered regressors.

Imagine he wears ones that have a flame pattern on them that fade away when used.

I like to think because he's a closeted Mecha-Man stan he wears a Mecha-Man onsie and carries a Mecha-Man plushie while regressed.

Not sure if anyone’s said it before but imagine lil flambea putting his broken tooth under his pillow at night and waking up a lil disappointed even tho he knew it was still gonna be there 😭😭 (he still keeps it there just in case the tooth fairy’s running a little late)

I like that. My running headcanon is that he regresses more after his tooth was knocked out. Flambae keeps putting it under his pillow and hoping anyway now that it will get money.

Uncle Colm humors him, while Robert feels a deep pit of regret for causing Flambae to lose his tooth. Solely because Robert holds himself to a hero's standard to protect littles even if they just so happen to be evil. He already feels regret for hurting Flambae, though it was necessary to survive. He hates that he cut the fingers off of a baby.

Anyway, fast-forward to one day when Flambae comes in ecstatic, saying the tooth fairy gave him money. He shows his Baba(Robert) and Z-Team even going as far as to get pizza.

Robert will never admit that he gave Flambae the money just writing it off as the many duties of a caretaker. Thankfully, SDN has good dental because Flambae definitely gets it fixed.

I love how everyone has hit Flambae with the little beam , when I first saw him I did the same thing.

I like to think that Prism is his sec caregiver/mama, possibly a work caregiver. She starts getting him excited when his daddy comes by to take him home, rubbing his lower back "ohhh, daddy's here. Come on, get up bubba !" He's just half asleep- leaning against her as he's doing grabby hands at his daddy.

Flambae is the perfect little imo. He has a lot of cg/big bro potential because he's good with kids but I think his latent brattiness makes him fit the little role better imo. Like I think of him as a brat that needs almost all of his daddy's attention. He can share with a younger or another little but has to be the center of Daddy's attention.

I hc that him and Prism already live with each other, so I think that it isn't a stretch that in a world where he's a little she knows. She is able to meet his needs by giving him a schedule and structure. Surprisingly she would be the only person he doesn't burn stuff around.

She acts as a built in babysitter/co-parent for Flambae/his daddy. I imagine his Daddy being worried about him regressing only to be relived Flambae is with Prism.

Though most times he will try to leave if regressed because he wants his daddy he will stick it through if Prism is there.
