Fleshing out the Voices!Lads AU because I really want this to be good!

Dan was randomly selected to be a candidate in a project from the mysterious Minx.co. They wanted to see how well microchips could integrate into a host’s nervous system, even wanting to see if these “voices” could control their host. The microchips put in Dan’s head were based on real people, who were also used in the experiment. Their names were Brian, Kevin, Séan, and Daithi. After the experiment, Minx.co removed any memory of them and sent Dan back into the world, just with four extra voices in his head. Trying their hardest to protect him from the fates that befell them, the Voice Lads told him that he had been in a severe car crash and now he was just hearing voices. While he originally wanted to go to the hospital immediately, the Voice Lads were able to convince him to keep them. Minx.co is still observing him carefully to see how he functions with the Lads in his head. The Lads’ goal is ultimately to tell Dan the truth and get him to free them from Minx.co.
