Yes, Nigel certainly was having fun at the party. But, the book he’d picked up that morning was honestly far more interesting to put down. So, he’d dressed himself, got there, found himself a table and a corner then the rest was history. Popping a cracker into his mouth, he turned his attention to Regulus after a moment. “Seriously, muggle history is far more interesting then I thought. I mean sure, my mother told me about it, but listen to this. Some man with the last name of Hamilton, wrote fifty-one essays defending some kind of American laws.”

The day was going by so slowly. Daisy was almost ready to burst from boredom watching the hands on the clock tick by at a rate that didn't feel fast enough. Madam Malkin had asked her to come in to watch the front of the store while she worked on special request items, but a customer hadn't entered the store all morning. She had cleaned and stocked everything in the store over and over again, but time seemed to be standing still. Finally fed up with watching the time, Daisy settled down at the counter and began to read The Philosophy of the Mundane: Why the Muggles Prefer Not to Know as a way to pass the time.

It seemed to work, because before she knew it Madam Malkin was shooing her out for her lunch break. Daisy almost squealed in excitement as she remembered her plans with Regulus, and practically ran down the cobblestone alley to meet up with him at The Leaky Cauldron. Although their friendship might seem strange to someone else, they had been friends since they were young, there was just always something about Regulus that Daisy found interesting. She sort of forced a friendship upon him when they were kids and they had grown together as friends ever since. Finally reaching the familiar old pub, Daisy settled down in one of the seats and awaited her friends arrival.
