Nigel has always had a curiosity for muggle items. It helped that his father is a muggle, which gave him more access to the things he wanted to study. 

He’s been working for the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts since he left school and has never been happier. 

Nigel has a hefty love of books, there is one room in his apartment that is just floor to ceiling books. More often than not if he isn’t at work or he isn’t in the muggle world, he’s sitting in the center of that room with a good book.
