one thing i really enjoy is how you give Felicity Smoak the nickname 'Fee/Fifi' but not in like, a super negative way? From what i understand, it's this cute little term for her and it makes my heart glow and i find myself using it. I could be wrong though lmao.

so a lot of people who dont like her call her fefe in a really condescending way so by trying to avoid using that i have characters call her “fee,” which to me is also a cute nickname and also comes from “ophelia” and it’s just a really pretty nickname imo.

headcanon that the first time Natasha met Pierre she straight up thought he was a werewolf to some degree. Coincidentally, this is also the start to my werewolf!pierre AU (which is then followed by Natasha seeing him transform on a full moon and yelling 'I KNEW IT. I KNEEEEWWWW ITTTTT.')

my immediate question is are u going to post this au and can i read it bc like….yes

also i have the urge to make this into a straight up mythical creatures headcanon party so

- pierre is a werewolf. his father is also a werewolf but his mother was not (since pierre is illegitimate) and so people weren’t sure if he would also be a werewolf. however he started experiencing “symptoms” later and not as strongly as a full-blooded werewolf would. 

because of this he can recognize people to whom he has a strong emotional bond (andrei and natasha, for example) when he’s in wolf form. 

he had a hard time adjusting to the idea of being a werewolf, especially the fear of harming others

but he likes to look at the moon or the stars when he’s a wolf to calm down and remember that the full moon will pass and he’ll be himself again

- natasha is a water nymph. i immediately felt like she is some sort of dryad/nymph creature and water nymphs are very romantic, love to sing/dance, etc. so i think that fits her well. 

but she’s also very social. she bubbles up everywhere, hangs out in sinks and baths to chat with people, goes to the lake to talk to pierre, or down the river to visit andrei at war, or hangs out in the pool by sonya’s tree. 

of course she can leave the water at times but it’s hard for nymphs to be separated from their source for too long so she always goes back. she doesn’t feel bound by it because she can still go anywhere.

- sonya is a dryad (tree nymph). she’s like natasha in that she inhabits a part of nature, but she’s more grounded and loyal to her tree. 

she gives and gives like natasha, but in different ways – resources like oxygen and shade and wind without asking for any of it back

- andrei is a centaur tbh he’s super proud and majestic and a good fighter 

but he also reads the stars and thinks about the future, which is what endears him to natasha in the first place. 

and he’s smart, like pierre, and he and pierre have long conversations and talk about what they see ahead

- anatole is a vampire for sure. he’s handsome and charming but also sinister and he preys on young women for blood. 

he doesn’t want to kill anyone but there’s been a couple close calls when he gets carried away. 

he comes upon natasha some time when she’s outside of the water and he doesn’t recognize her as a nymph so he thinks he can pursue her. 

he doesn’t see her for who she is and natasha is weak by being away from her source so she’s easier to manipulate and it’s all a mess. 

and this also adds a new meaning to “you will not enter my house” i’m nutting

- dolokhov is also a vampire, we’re not sure if he kills people but you know he probably does. i considered him being a werewolf but i think he’s too controlled for that.

- helene is our third vampire but she’s very seductive about it and uses her charm to get victims (like anatole but more subtly). 

secretly she’s afraid that she’ll kill someone so she makes it her strategy to feed a little bit on several people at once 

(i’m thinking specifically of the part in the book where she’s still married to pierre but is also choosing between two more guys to marry lmao)

- marya b. i think is a ghost because first of all i had to get a reference to ghost quartet in here 

and second of all because it seems like she would be the only human in the bunch and also because the dichotomy of fading but holding on seems to fit her

- marya d. is just straight up medusa, but, like, in a good way

- balaga is a poltergeist and that’s the tea

- old prince b. is just. a goblin

- i can’t decide on nikolai so if anyone wants to chime in

Pierre doing the hands over the eyes 'guess who?' thing except Natasha sort of freaks out the first time he does it and she baps him in the face with her hand.

i don’t think she would freak out; she knows pierre too well, knows the sound of his footsteps and the feel of his hands, the way his breath rasps slightly on the exhale, but she pretends to be genuinely surprised regardless just to see him smile

Something i'm really glad about is the general positive reaction Power Rangers has with the Voltron fandom??? as someone who's a fan of both I was nervous that the Voltron fandom would absolutely rip the new Power Rangers film to shreds bc they're very similar plot wise (at least in my mind) just presented in a different format. But I'm really really happy that Voltron fans enjoy the power rangers movie!!!!

same! I think a lot of us enjoy it because 1. it has a lot of diversity, more so than voltron. 2. it’s a found family trope with a lot of friendship and a huge platonic dynamic between the team being a central characteristic of the plot, like voltron’s but imo better and a bit more relatable. 3. the colors and the dinozords/megazord offer up great crossover and au ideas too, especially since they’re all the same colors for the most part! Plus it is like...genuinely funny (pee in that cup is going to be etched in my brain forever) and even though it tackled some pretty big issues it never lost it’s main focus on friendship and hope and I think that’s really good. I hope we get the sequels they’re planning for because this reboot was just so good.
