Growing up, I tried my hand at many things. One of them was drawing. For years, I kept hearing the same thing over and over again from so many. "You can't draw." It was wrong for those who kept saying that, but it was more wrong for me to start believing it. I got better over time, but I drew less and less. I eventually stopped a few years ago. This afternoon as I was driving to work, I came to the realization that I could lose the ability to draw if I didn't start back. This is the first drawing I've done in six years. I said that to say this. 1. Never ever say that someone can't do something, when they clearly can. You're not the authority of anyone but yourself. 2. Tune out any and all negativity from others. Others may say or do anything to discourage you from taking on a passion, but YOU have the last word. #RehabAssignment #Respect #LongLiveUnderdogs https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ5SkT1BTMl/?utm_medium=tumblr
