homuras "double" has wavier hair. shell compact says "stupid venus." different eye color looking into the mirror, though. is this a vainer homura who cares very deeply what madoka thinks of her?

dont buy that the new girls are witches from the og anime but i do think homura is keeping kyuubey around because shes stealing his powers and making contracts with girls in an isabeau-style. green haired girl has a black mark on her soul gem fingernail - contract with homura?

also, green haired girl is having tea with homura. same teapot that shows up later when homura stabs herself in the wrist (the knife broke off inside her arm. freaky deaky)

just got back from an event at my college in honor of a professor who passed, and now i am all fired up outlining a sequel to a fic i wrote years ago. probably not what he had in mind if my memory of him serves, but the heart wants what it wants

so about the mirrors witch being revealed as a collective witch/mikoto and chizuru being "fused" ... i didnt really get it but i think i understand now, so putting my thoughts here.

fyi im basing this off of summaries read and i havent bothered to read much discussion on discord, so this is probably an obvious conclusion others have already pointed out

so essentially mitama making her wish to be the creature that destroys kamihama at the same time mikoto witches out transforms mikoto into a much more powerful witch than she mightve otherwise. and because the other girls in kamihama fail to kill her during the events of breakpoint and resolve to just let her be, shes able to collect more and more energy by copying the girls that enter her labyrinth. so over time she acquires the ability to build offshoot mirrors through time and space, probably also because mitamas wish made her freakishly powerful. through these mirrors she is able to absorb the despair of girls from the past and future, which is why she was able to absorb chizuru. i guess shes taken in so much despair from other girls that this is why mikoto is now considered just the "figurehead" of sarah mirabilis w, even though she was the original solo witch to begin with. theres a bunch of other girls mixed up in there now, chizuru included. theres still other stuff i dont get, like why mikoto is able to latch herself like a parasite onto people like hanna and alina, but whatever, chalk it up to mitamas powerup

okay just wanted to get that out there, back to fighting the mirror witch. im on turn 21 and i keep getting magia locked aaarrrgh

how is it that despite the number of talented artists who somehow commit themselves to regularly producing hs fan content in this year of 2023 homestuck as a brand commits itself to the most milquetoast visually unappealing promotional art possible

actually going beyond that.... in retrospect realizing that hussie was planning for years to make jade harley an unbearable annoying caricature who nobody closest to her could stand to be around. jade harley. the girl who suffered silently throughout the vast majority of her story. who, at the end of hs, literally said that she was starting to not feel like a person anymore. her 😃👍
