the house had a bed , a table and some chairs, however, she still needed a couch as well as another table for the tv. she had bought it even though she wasn’t used to tv’s like that since in her future they came in different designs and bigger shapes and they also had AI functions in them. either way, she needed a furniture for it too hence , the time traveller went to the closest IKEA in order to find good, but cheap furniture to enrich her home with.
just as she had found the couch she wanted and went to sit on it and test it like the seller told her, someone else was already there speaking about how he wanted that couch. the voice was too familiar to her and soon, when she turned to see who it was she told to the employee there. “i’ll buy this one.”
the other employee helping the familiar male, spoke. “i’m sorry this is the last one and this customer came first.” and he gestured for rei to see peter. was shocked to see him, though, she should have known that he would have been on earth at that time. she was more than familiar with who he was, though she had met his far older self.
“ah are you sure? because now i am the one sitting on this couch and i will pay for it in cash!” she said with a smug expression on her face. “i bet you didn’t see that coming peter---” she stopped. “i mean, stranger. this couch is sold to me, it’s law now.”
