"How drunk are you right now?" Mia to Josh
"Whaaaaaaaaa?"
He was clearly drunk. Far gone, in fact, so damn tipsy that he could barely stand up. Except he'd only had about three beers. Josh Sorano was a lightweight. Not that he'd admit that to anyone. To be fair, it was graduation night, that was what they were supposed to do, wasn't it?
And so he did.
"Miamiamiamiamia," he slurred, smile so wide that it almost broke his face as he sat next to his best friend. "I'm gonnamiss you, y'know that? S'like what am I gonna do withyou all the way cross the country?" He slung his arm around the tiny brunette, pulling her in for a tight hug and scrunching his face up.
"Yeah, yeah, I guess I'm gonna miss you too, but don't tell anyone." He kissed to top of her head and shook his own, his silent promise that he wouldn't dare taint her reputation and they sat there, still in their graduation gowns, caps askew on their head for a long time in silence, staring up at their school.
"Mia," he spoke finally, breaking the silence between them. "Yeah, Josh?" And he giggled, snorted before looking at her. "I am so drunk right now."
"Are you sure this is legal?” Blythe to Reed
"Y...es." Reed's entire face turned beet red and she smiled awkwardly, too tight to be genuine. "Wh--why wouldn't it? Why wouldn't it be legal?" Truth be told, she wasn't really sure at all, something told her that what they were doing was just most likely to get them suspended than anything too crazy, but as Blythe questioned her, she couldn't even be too sure.
To be fair, it was for a good cause.
Or, well, sort of.
Painting their school color's on their rivals grass wasn't necessarily for a good cause as much as it was the hazing she'd gotten thrown into and had subsequently roped Blythe into, but, well, she was going to get into a sorority and that was all that mattered. "I mean it's just paint, right? I wouldn't-- hahaha I wouldn't make you do something illegal, Bumblebee, what kind of girl do you take me for?" Again, the uncertainty was clear on her expression and she swallowed thickly as she swiped the paint along, the grey wolf too sloppily done.
All the blonde did was eye her curiously, one eyebrow raised before she nodded. "If you say so, Red." All the brunette did was nod, a beaming smile on her face and a scrunch of her nose.
Three hours later the two girls sat in a small jail cell--campus security, not actual jail, thank you very much--and Reed sat, her back against the wall, her knees pulled up against her, her forehead resting on them.
"Reed Kiernan Atwood," she heard though she didn't look up only groaning and shaking her head before she looked up exasperated. "At least we didn't go to actual jail!"
"Unbelievable. I can't believe you right now." Aubrey to Kate
"What?" Her mouth was full of food, a bottle of cheap beer in her hand. It was far too easy for Kate to pretend she hadn't heard Aubrey over all the music, but in reality she knew exactly what she'd said. It was just that, well, she wasn't really prepared to deal with the consequences of her actions just yet.
To be fair, Kate hadn't realized that they would announce the nominations so fucking fast. She'd just slipped Aubrey's name into the prom ballot, knowing that this was her best friend's last chance to have a little fucking fun in high school and what better way to do so than with a crown on her head. The same afternoon the PA system had switched on with a glaring screech and announced the ballots.
Luckily, her last class was with Bailey and not Aubrey, though her brunette friend had known right away, giving Kate a look that clearly said she's going to murder you. The blonde went home right away, not stopping to talk to anyone and texting Nicky that she was leaving in order to avoid her death. At least for a little longer.
Of course he said she was being melodramatic but Nicky had never met Aubrey Frost's rage.
Her mistake was the fucking party. She'd completely forgotten about it and by the time she arrived there, looking out for her best friends over the crowds of people, she'd forgotten about the nominations. Somewhere along the way she'd grabbed a beer, a handful of chips, and the she saw the two of them, and without hesitation she bumped her hip with Aubrey's as a greeting.
And then she scolded her.
"You." She spat out, fixing her glare on her and Kate was surprised to see how menacing she looked. Rare was the time that anyone but her was that steely, but Aubrey was doing a damn good job of mimicking her.
"Me," Kate repeated, swallowing her mouthful of chips before taking a long swig from her beer. She was doing a pretty good job at looking as innocent as possible, but the other blonde wasn't buy it. "You nominated me for prom queen!"
Oh.
"Yeah, that was me, congratulations. I hope you win," she grinned, before she nodded at Bailey who certainly looked like she wanted to stay the fuck out of it. "I mean I know me and B will vote for you, right B?" Again Bailey looked like she wanted to stay the fuck out of it, but Kate definitely needed back up.
"Katelyn Mae Newton." Aubrey's hard voice brought her out of it and she glanced up wide eyed, before throwing back her head and laughing. Yeah, she wasn't afraid if Aubrey Lilianna Frost. "C'mon, Aubs, what's the worst that could happen? You win prom queen and have to dance with some dude and then Bailey gets all territorial over your ass. I'll make you a deal, if you win, we'll push out the prom king and get all Romy and Michelle with ya, okay? Don't be such an old lady about it, this is senior fucking year, you've already been nominated, nothing you can do now."
Somehow Aubrey seemed to settle down with her promise, though she was still pouting. At least she wasn't yelling anymore. "Sides, you probs won't even win." She shrugged, gaining a scoff from her best friend. "What's that supposed to mean?"
siriuswrites replied to your post:I have a lot of feelings about the powerpuff girls...
are you gonna make me emotional
don't touch me you started it.
Candice Accola, Adam Brody, Bridgit Mendler, Andrew Garfield. Come at me, bro.
Wow you have legitimate issues.
Even though Camilla was originally Candice Accola, there's only one character with that face in my heart and that's Aubrey Frost/Nathanson she like Bailey Sandoval was an important part of Kate's life and they were lifelong best friends and I got so many emotions over them like REALLY uHG powerpuff girls is one of the best brotps ever NOPE BYE
HAHAHAHA ADAM BRODY WAS THE ORIGINAL MAX THERE IS NO OTHER ADAM BRODY FACE CLAIMS LISTEN TO ME FUCK MY ENTIRE LIFE I have so many Max Sirius feelings what is this what is happening.
One time I wrote a Bridgit Mendler character for an RP Janey and I ran and it felt so wrong because Bridgit Mendler is always will be Elise Newton. Like do you see a pattern here I get so attached to certain face claims tbh. UGH but like Kate and Elise are pretty much me and Reid so you feel me?
I've actually RPd with a lot of Andrew's which I guess isn't surprising because like he's pree popular and like on tumblr the one I remember the most was played by Amelia and he was super and a cello player and it was great but like I am biased and its just like everything is Melli because BRANDON FUCKING KEPLER OK.
"I never imagined you were so… ticklish." Ana to Greer
It was just the slightest of touches that got her going. Just a slight graze of the blonde's fingernails against her arm that made Greer's skin raise and move away, a slight giggle escaping her as she. She hadn't thought anything of it, though, the brunette hardly thought that the reaction Ana had garnered from just that touch would fuel anything inside of her and as such she went right back to her book, not really thinking much of it.
And then she spoke. Those words came out of her mouth and Greer propped up, looking at the smaller blonde with an eyebrow raised. "I'm not ticklish," she said firmly, that same matter-of-fact voice she used for practically everything. Instantly, Ana sat up, a smile curving on her lips that made her look like the cat that caught the canary. "I don't believe that," she said, and pushed away from the palm tree they'd been leaning against and once again raked her fingers against the brunette's arm.
"Stop," was her only response, though she shifted over in the sand, moved over away from the girl enough that she couldn't reach her. Greer's own expression was all too serious, her lips pressed together in a thin line, her brow furrowed, though for the life of her she couldn't seem to concentrate on her book again.
It was probably the fact that she could feel the blonde's eyes on her, she could feel her stalking over to her on her hands like a cat, her eyes trained directly on her. "Ana," Greer said, looking at her from her peripheral vision, ready to move away the closer she got, but the girl gave her no opportunity, as she leapt on her pinning her down on the sand of the island and letting her fingers run through her sides. "Ana! Ana! Stop." She could hardly breathe she was laughing so damn hard, though somehow she managed to gain her composure.
In a second, Greer flipped the two of them, thanking her height for the advantage. Suddenly she had the upper hand as she looked down at Ana with a smirk on her own expression. "Are you ticklish?"
