I'm nearing the end of writing part 2 and oh my god, it's a spicy pizza pie. We horny and lonely up in here. 😭😩💀

EDIT: Also, part 2 is up to 3k words of basically entirely smut, whoopsie.

I have a rule where I only post fics that I've finished, start to end, but I think I'm breaking that rule today. New Year's fic is going to be in two parts. Part 1: New Year's Eve, and part 2: New Year's Day.

I'm done writing part 1 and I'm editing it, but part 2 isn't done. I'm hoping to get part 1 out tonight and part 2 out tomorrow, but both of those deadlines are kind of up in the air.

I want to prioritize actually posting versus over-editing. I commonly do a lot of edits in my writing, and it's a part of my process, so the quality and depth of this one probably isn't going to be up to par for me. Good practice writing on a deadline, I suppose? 😬

The way I got an idea for a New Year's fic yesterday, and now I'm at 4k words and trying to wrap this shit up ASAP. Everyone, send good vibes so you hopefully don't get it late. 🤞

Ebook versions of my fics

Going forward, I want to create accompanying ebook versions of my fics. If you're an e-reader user, you can wirelessly send them to your e-reader!

I already create basic EPUBs for myself and load them onto my Kindle, so now I'll just put a bit more work into them and release them to you all! Here's the master folder, but I'll put links to each fic's specific folder on the post for the fic. Right now, I only have An Invisible Locket in there.

If anyone wants to know what I'm like as a person, I've spent so long writing this fic, that I feel like it's lackluster now and don't want to post ittt. I still will, though, don't worry! Today is editing day. First draft is done!

I'm trying to remind myself of "progression over perfection." I spend way too long with fics sometimes. Sometimes, it's hard to tell the difference between when you're truly improving upon the piece with your small tweaks, or just changing things for the sake of changing them.

New blog name! @reids-slut -> @reidsrambles

I've been wanting to change my blog name for a bit, and today is the day! @reids-slut is now @reidsrambles on here, and on AO3, and I think it suits me a lot better. Give me some time to fix any broken links, or let me know if you find any.

I'll also be updating my post tags. So, for example, the tag I use on all my fics, #reids-slut-writes, will now be #reidsrambles-writes.

EDIT: Also, I have a procedure on Monday and will be getting anaesthetic, so chapter 6 of An Invisible Locket will be going up early on Sunday, July 7th, at noon!
