My ramblings/thoughts on how it's going playing final fantasy XV: Chapter 8-

quests + random.

no intro just birds~

I still had to fight that damn bird. two more tries. On tenth try I got the feather from the griffin! I had a feeling it would take 10 tries and it did. I checked the timed quest and I wasn’t able to do it since it had a particular chapter requirement or something. I did still go over to ceam to get some carrots and kill some things. We slept there as well I also did a little driving in the monster truck Reigalia. It was interesting. I got to the finish line right at it hit zero. Im serious I hit the finish line right then. I have no idea if it counted as a won or not. after this I drove around I small bit to try and get to the next location. Thought I decided to just fast travel there. I went back to hammerhead to both fix the Reigalia and change it back to normal. I then went to turn in Sanias quest.

I didn’t have much to do and went to go do my last do-able quest, which was to save the black chocobo. however I never go to do this quest because I noticed a question mark on my map at maldacio* it was another Sania quest. I did not know she had another one so it was interesting, she told me about a Rainbow frog thought to be extinct and she wanted us to find it, because of course she did. It is here I want to mention a while back around when I first started playing my brother made a joke about catching Gay rainbow frogs. . . I thought this was a joke yet here was are. . .

I looked up where to go for this quest because the game didn’t give to much information. I went to the Vesperpool and after a bit found the frog there. then came the next frog, it thought it was also near the Vesperpool over by the pond but when I double checked it was actually in a different location, I went there and Still managed to get it wrong because I was apparently on the wrong side of the lake. I did eventually get the second frog. this was where I had to end for the night so now I get to find more frogs. also I tried to catch the Leige two more times. I Failed thought I almost got halfway on thw second try. If there’s any tips on how to catch him please inform me~

random: as of this last play I have a few notes of random things Ive noticed. (their mostly about Gladio)

Gladio- Gladio has sneezed a total of 32 times. One of the last time I played he sneezed a total of 5 times. He’s been fully clothed to. I have most of the boys in their casual clothes. Weather he’s cold and it’s causing his nose to run or he has allergies I don’t know but He’s a real sneezy boi either way. the entire time Ive been playing this game Prompto has been taking pictures of Gladio’s butt. I have no idea why. . . It’s literally pictures zoomed in on Gladio’s booty, some are during fights which can be excused but he does this outside of them too. I don’t know how many he's taken Ive lost track at this point. I love how when you stay at the house in ceam everyone’s talking and taking pictures wall Gladdy is over there just napping/resting. it’s so cute. And amusing. (I don’t care if he’s actually asleep or not. It’s amusing- big buff guy’s all sleepy)

Ignis: a little while ago when I first got Sanias quest in maldacio* I wanted to get a good look at her outfit and pulled out the camera, very quickly Ignis rushed in front of her and crossed his arms. When I tell you he looked like he was disappointed and disapproving of my actions. he did this twice. What makes this funnier is it came after the line about them ‘keeping their hormones in check’ in regards to another quest. (what a man that one)

‘Noctis’: I can count the amount of times I’ve actually seen Noctis take a nap, for everyone to call him ‘Sleepy prince’ and ‘Sleeping beauty’ he really doesn’t nap a lot in the car the only times I’ve seen him do this were when it was raining, I only Recently saw him napping without rain. Gladio takes more naps in the car than Noct. (He could just be relaxing but still)

Recently Ive been driving a lot with Noctis and I noticed the car is dead silent with him driving. Gladdy is reading, Napping and keeping to himself. Ignis is as stiff as a bored and only moves to adjust his glasses and maybe look around a bit. And Prompto he’s the only one still moving around he’s just not talking to anyone which I honestly don’t like Prompto is a yapper it’s odd to have him just sit there fidgeting.

Ignis had said he was ‘positively frightened’ to not be behind the wheel and let Noctis drive so it makes sense why he’s not doing much else other then sitting there. This man is probably two seconds away from having an anxiety or heart attack here. Gladio seems to be the type to keep to himself, unless someone talks to him first (wall in the car hes a very charismatic person and talks to a lotta people it seems) and Iggys certainly not gonna be the one to strike up a conversation here. prompto seems to want to talk to Noct but is using better judgment because he doesn’t want to die in a car crash/almost die. Leading to him being even more fidgety and probably becoming a rocket of energy once they’re out of that car (like a dog. . . How cute) maybe it’s their dynamics or maybe they just don’t want to distract Noctis so they all have a chance of surviving the car trip.

Prompto: I have no comments on Prompto really I honestly don’t give him the attention and love he deserves, he’s so freaking cute and sweet. well I did notice one thing actually- when the boys are In the car Prompto will lay his head on the side, I alsway thought he was just resting there (which MUST bb BURNING HIS ARMS). I was in the car and figured and looked at the other three to much so I noticed Prompto who was laying there, and I’m pretty sure he’s looking at his own reflection in the mirror. . . This boy is a bird. (I thought it was kinda cute. And dorky/stupid)

I relate more to Prompto and Noctis but my brain wants to latch on to Iggy and Gladdy for some reason. with that said I do still love Prompto.
