But if Mary's half brother informed Elizabeth the attempted assasination was actually a set up by John Knox this personal fight could easily be avoided. He could have Knox assasinated or convicted for a crime he didn't commit to keep the favor of the nobles.

I watched the Reign season finale yesterday and I still can’t believe it. Like, when I was watching it, my friend was like “they’re not gonna do it” and I was like “yeah but what if they do?” It wouldn’t be the first time someone was killed off or left the show, so I knew it was possible, but deep down I really thought Elizabeth would stop it at the last second.
AND THEN THEY HAD TO GO AND SHOW US HER WITHOUT HER HEAD TOO.

I liked Lola. And I really liked her friendship with Elizabeth. Ahhhhhhhhh so frustrating how she just went along with it and didn’t even question if Mary sent her the letter or not. But at the same time, from her perspective, it may not have been so unbelievable for Mary to ask her friend of such a deed.
Ugh, I’m just sad about it. I'm not really angry at the writers or anything, because at this point I’m just trying to watch the show without getting too into it. I learned my lesson with Conde. Now I’m just along for the ride.
UGH BUT LEITH TOO? LOl. That was too much, having both die at the same time. But I’m still hoping that Leith will pull through. They probably just want us to think he’s dead. Please survive. My friend was like, “Well, someone’s gonna die” right after Catherine gave him and Claude her blessing, lol.
This show literally has no happy endings.
