Not Light Red by reikureii

“Color children, the majority of which are named after their parent. But my name ceases to be ‘Light Red’. I am,individually, Pink.”

This piece refers to pastel colors, or “baby colors”. The children of what we would call “gem colors”, or the usually bright reds, blues, and greens. Those colors are usually named after their parent, for example “Light Yellow” or “Baby Blue”. However the color between white and red is rarely, if ever, called “Light Red” or “Pastel Red”. This work is about Red’s child having the individual name “Pink”.
