Buddy is the spitting image of Richard, we all know that. He also inherited the less obvious Cain size.

Reinis looks identical to his mom save for the face patterns. Which the unfortunate second child of Buddy and Annie shall receive.

Said second child has Cain's eyes and Angela's facial patterns, so it's like looking at them both! Cain has extremely recessive genes and Annie's dad's side has dominant genes so it'll probably take a miracle for the grey eyes outcome to occur lol

I tried to shoot for Ansisa getting a mix of Radmir and Boris' (extremely overpowering) genes and Richard and Buddy's genes. Ansisa essentially has Boris' exact facial patterns. The blue eyes are from either Boris or Dolores' sides of the family. Ansisa's body stripe patterns are heavily Buddy coded.

Distinction I have to make: Every T-Rex has a unique stripe pattern in my AU, just like other animals in present day nature and human fingerprints. But they're all still heavily influenced by genetics.

Another distinction: the Mcraeensis genes are far too overpowered by T-Rex genes for them to be noticeable at all past Annie's generation. Ansisa and the second kid are essentially straight up T-Rex.

[Human AU The Runaways Rewrite...]

[Richard Rex and Mrs. Pteranodon are staring in horror, disgust, and fear at Angela Tyrannosaurus, sitting in the shadows drinking a bottle of alcohol, after she told them some of her conversation with Buddy...]

Mrs. Pteranodon, wide eyed, in tears: What... did you...

Richard: What have you done now, Angela?

Angela, dead in the eyes, apathetic, bitter: [scoffs] I told him the truth. He asked if he should keep trying to survive, I told him he wasn't worth it. He was a mistake, a curse with who his father was. The world is better off without him. So, one less accident to worry about. [Lifts her bottle and starts drinking more]

Richard, pale and tearing up: How could you!?

Mrs. Pteranodon: [screams ferally and races towards Angela, jumping over the bar and bolting towards her cot with her fist raised]

Angela: [lifts her bottle and slams it against Mrs. Pteranodon, having aimed for her head but instead hitting her side]

Richard: [immediately running in, giving into his eternal urges to kill Angela and defending his nephew's real mom] ANGELA!!!!!

[Richard grabs his sister and slams her against the wall, but she grabs her table lamp and starts hitting Richard with it, kicking him away and chucking it at him. Richard catches it and hurls it right back at her. She dodges and it hits the wall.]

Mrs. Pteranodon: [gets up, bleeding and stinging from the alcohol and glass, but with plenty of fight and rage left it her, charges Angela again] YOU'LL PAY FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TO MY SON AND REINIS!!! EVERYTHING!!!!!

Angela: [catches Mrs. Pteranodon's one fist, but can't catch the other]

Mrs. Pteranodon: [screams again as she repeatedly punches her]

Angela: [covers her face successfully]

Richard: [kicks Angela in the stomach, barrelling her over as he and Mrs. Pteranodon both start beating her]

Richard, enraged: THAT WAS MY SON! AND MY NEPHEW! YOU HURT THEM BOTH! AND YOU NEVER PAID FOR IT! I WAS TOO MERCIFUL! ALL THESE YEARS!!! I WON'T BE COMPLACENT ANYMORE! I'M KILLING YOU!!!!

Mrs. Pteranodon: IF MY SON IS DEAD HIS BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS, YOU WRETCHED WITCH!

[Movement is heard from the entrance to the living room.]

Richard: [still kicking her]

Mrs. Pteranodon: [runs to the bar counter and grabs a sharp bottle opener, gripping it like a knife and screaming] DIE-

Boris: [grabs Mrs. Pteranodon] STOP!

Mrs. Pteranodon, in tears, screaming: SHE TOLD MY SON TO GO KILL HIMSELF!!!

Boris: -THEN WE NEED TO FIND HIM NOW! NOT BEAT THIS MISERABLE CRONE!!!

Richard, still beating on Angela, years of everything held in coming out: YOU BITCH! YOU BITCH! YOU BITCH! YOU BITCH!

Boris, unable to stop Richard since he's holding Mrs. Pteranodon back: SOMEBODY HELP!

Thurston, running in, seeing what's going on, and immediately running towards Richard: Got it! Richard! Stop! Time is of the essence! And we found Annie! We have to move!

Boris, immediately in tears, shaking: YOU FOUND MY BABY GIRL!?

I'm pretty sure Reinis Rex went to Adventure Camp once and decided he didn't like it.

Reinis just didn't like going out much. He got separation anxiety from his Uncle Richard until his teens, and he was terrified of forming any attachments in fear of being abandoned again. (In many ways he and Buddy had the same issues, but unlike Buddy Reinis never overcame his separation and social anxiety.)

I don't know what specifically caused Reinis to decide he didn't want to be at Adventure Camp. Like Annie he definitely struggled with "overbearing city rules," but maybe there was a predator attack during that one trip he was on that made him feel unsafe enough to never go back.

Richard had wanted Reinis to at least try Adventure Camp, but he wouldn't have pushed him to try again. Hence him only going once.
