Roman is so head over heels for him, he can’t stop thinking about him ever since they first met. He won’t stop talking about him to Seth and Dean, much to their annoyance. Bro, what if Roman drives him to college?? Daniel showing up to the field in a Cadillac, in his dusty jeans and cowboy boots, waving to the dude whose jaw could cut diamonds. (All of Daniel’s classmates are jealous, including the teacher).

Daniel having a dilemma of the heart™, and one day Roman asks him why he seems so glum, and he confesses his conflicting feelings of being really interested in him but being inferior to him in every way, and Roman just. and then he just works himself into a Full Out BURNOUT, and then cue roman letting daniel have some time off, w/ pay,, and daniel is just confused bc he's never met someone as nice as roman,, and a small part of him wonders why roman is like that to him,, and then he gets worried again bc he's got a lot of work to catch up on,, and he's falling behind in his classes,, and just the anxiety is Getting Too Much,, adn the cue roman helping daniel overcome his worries and making him feel better again

Roman sending him care packages when he gave him the week off. He writes notes like “hope u get well soon! xoxo” and Daniel becoming a gay mess™ when he sees that Roman put “xoxo” on the notes. When he finally gets “enough” rest, he kinda….dresses a bit better when he goes to work. Roman sees him trying to attempt to look cool and takes him to get fitted for a suit, all paid for, of course

Daniel stresses about it again, but this time Roman says, “I’m going to take care of you now, okay?” in a very serious and deep tone, and Daniel kinda gets turned on by that, so he just agrees to w/e Roman says. Later, Roman takes him out to dinner at a fancy restaurant, and Daniel’s first instinct is to reach for the check, but Roman waves him off and pays. adn then like daniel is embarrassed at first bc he doesn't like admitting that he couldn't afford to buy things,, but roman looks so sincere,, and genuine that daniel is kinda taken aback,, bc people before have made fun of him for not being able to buy some of the things he needed,, and daniel feels indebted to roman bc roman bought him those books, and they were p expensive,, so he works harder to try and make up for it,, and that makes him more tired,, which makes him miss lectures etc,,

Daniel accidentally falling asleep in a hallway bcus there’s several plants there, but the air conditioning is so nice and cold, and the smell of the flowers is very sweet, and he’s just gonna lay down for a second…

Roman finding him and bringing him up to his office so he can sleep on his couch. Daniel waking up and immediately apologizing for sleeping on the job. Roman shrugs it off bcus hey, he gets it.
