flirting and pickup lines may go over her head at first. But once Emily makes it clear she's feelings for Lute she'll be more responsive to them and probably embarrassed. Lute is definitely a dominant sort but she'll be a switch if close enough. Exterminations ending? That'd take her time to accept fact they have to end and Emily's patience. She hates demons and fact one killed Adam only makes it harder for her to agree to them ending.

This wasn't the right time, or the right place to try and be as polite or as friendly as she usually would be to anyone who ended up in the hotel. Lute wasn't accepting of it, evident in the way that she stops the Princess before she can even say a single word. She's barely even taken a breath before the fallen even interrupts her. Don't act so innocent. She wants to argue her case; to let Lute know that she isn't acting and she means what she does, but that isn't going to help at the moment.

Just like staring at Lute in silence isn't going to help.

Charlie swallows thickly, and clears her throat before she tries again. "I'm not trying to act. I genuinely want to ask if you're okay." A tricky question, really, considering Lute's situation. "And I want to help if you're in any pain, or... anything. I'm not here to hurt you." As unsurprising as that sounds.
