All of the Good Omens merch that has come in for October for the most part. I left out the picture I framed because I already posted about it.

Row 1:

Ordered this lovely clock from Kakimari. I knew I would like it just from the pictures but when I opened the box and put it together it was so much more than I expected. Only thing I can say if you order this is that the tower bit was sort of hard to get into the slot. I was semi afraid it wouldn't actually slot into it but with some finagling, it did.  

Row 2:

More prints from Ginger Haole. I apologize that the lighting in some of my pictures is sort of off, I am having some electrical issues and am reduced to using lamps rather than central lighting. All of the things I have ordered from her are just lovely.  

Row 3:

Key-chain charm from Lisaveeee (front and back sides). She has some very cute artwork. It is kind of hard to see some of the details in this one sadly.

Crowley's snake tattoo pendant from Cuttlefishcake, which is cut out of a marbled dark brown acrylic.

Row 4:

Two different pins from DeanDraws which are wonderful. They're rather large also, almost as big as my palm. I was impressed with the quality of the pins and the packaging that was used. The flowers on the Crowley one I've been informed are love lies bleeding, which does things to my heart.

Postcard from Charlieartspace, that is done on a gold pearlescent sort of paper. Very pretty, I only wish there was a larger version.

Row 5:

New years print from SharpAce. The cut on the print was done by the printer from what I understood of it. Was a bit imperfect but considering the quality of print itself I wasn't really put off. Just something to note if you are a neatnik about such things..

Items from a Kickstarter I took part in way back in August, run by Fopdoodles. There was a wooden charm also but I can’t for the life of me get a worthwhile picture of it.

This is a bit of a public service announcement for those people who have not purchased stickers from redbubble before but would like to and want to know what to expect before they plunk down their money. I'd like to keep other people from wasting their money like I have on stuff they can't even use. I've tried all of the stickers that redbubble makes aside from the laptop skins. I'm a bit picky about quality because generally speaking I want to use them to make charms or other craft projects.

I suggest you purchase the transparent stickers only. They have a texture to them because they are printed on top of plastic but they are solid seeming and look pretty good all things considered. (examples of these can be seen on the first and second rows). I did order a second version of the glossy sticker in transparent so you can see that here.  

The matte and glossy stickers more or less have the same kind of print quality to them. Which is to say sort of grainy and a bit blurry. I only really have one example of this (third row, two shots of the same sticker) because the other ones ended up in the bin after I ordered previously. They look alright at a distance but I would not have paid what they were asking for them if I had known beforehand.  

The only other things I can comment on in so far as redbubble are their greeting cards and their poster prints both of which I found acceptable quality.

P.S. That smug expression Aziraphale has tickles me. I love it in ways I can’t articulate properly.

This is on the later end of things and I almost didn't post it at all but here we are.

Row 1: A pair of prints from Unicornempire. The paper quality of these prints are fair enough, nothing special, just regular semi-gloss paper. When I ordered them I half thought due to the look of them that they would be printed on a different paper type. This isn't a knock on them, just something to be aware of. The color saturation and the style of the prints themselves are very good. (US based)

Row 2: A charm (front and back) that I got from FoxEstacado. I love the artwork of this charm. I feel like it's something of a shame that the Aziraphale side is somewhat more obscured by the holographic effect. It looks better in real life than it photographs despite this, but I do wish people would skip this option for charms with different pictures on each side. I feel like there is a real lack of nonchibi style charms available on the market honestly so I was excited to get this one. (US based)

Stickers from Kuro-cchi. Small, but cute and the quality is reasonable for the price. (US based)

Row 3: A charm (only one side shown) by J Yang. I've bought a few things from this shop and the quality is consistently good across everything I've gotten. One side of this charm has a silver foil overlay to the artwork and one side is more plain. (Like 90% sure US based?)

A charm (front and back) that I got from ArtbyDins. Not real sure why Crowley's wings are white, and don't much care because it has Crowley in a suit. Only real complaint (and it isn't one honestly) is that Crowley and Aziraphale came each on one side and at the time there was only one available so I have to flop it back and forth now and again to see both. Seriously though, cute and Crowley in a suit. I focus on the important stuff. (Belgium based)

Row 4: The postcards which came with Ginger Haole's artbooks You Again and Praise (not shown here). They were printed double sided so I had to pick and choose which side to display in my print book. The art books themselves are beautiful, though I will admit to actually preferring the You Again book a bit more over Praise so far as overall amount of content. She is hands down one of my top favorite good omens artists, and everything that I have ever bought from her that was on-hand was shipped very promptly. I censored the one picture due to bits. I don't really know where the line is anymore on tumblr so best not to take chances. (US based)

Good Omens merch that came in for December.

Absolutely still smitten with Good Omens even after months and it doesn't seem like it's fading at all. I have never in my in my life bought so much merch for one fandom. About the closest thing I could name would be back when I actively collected comic books but even then I don't really count it. Funny thing is people keep enabling/encouraging me to do to it too. I'm like “I might have a problem.” and generally they will say something like “It's not a problem if it makes you happy!”.

Ah well.

(Row 1) A pin set I received from Enerjax. It's rather well made but there is a lot of rose gold chrome to it so it can be a bit hard to make out the faces depending on angle. I feel that it obscures the faces a bit which is a shame but it is a very lovely pin set. She sent along a print of the picture that they were based off of as well as a random Harry Potter one that was also very nice. US based artist.

(Row 2) A charm I got from Cosmicloak, front and back. She has a very cute and whimsical sort of art style over all. US based artist.

(Row 3) A pair of charms I received from Nobledemons. She does a lot of these double layered looking charms, as well as some that are not. A lot of it is chibi style and the items that are not still seem to have a softer slightly younger look to the characters. The charms themselves are wonderful quality and I was very pleased with them. Some of her pieces are a bit revealing. US based artist.

(Row 4 & 5) Two charms and a standee I received from Deckitout. It is a bit hard to find standees, I really wish more people did them. I pretty much snatch them up as quick as I can if I like the art. I was thrilled with this one. It's rather good quality. This artist always ships things out within a week of an order and nicely packaged, I appreciate consistency of very much. US based store.

(Row 6) Charm I received from Starbys, which I found to be different than any of the other stuff I've found as of yet and amusing. This Etsy store is on the new side and has not done very many transactions but I had no problems with them at all. US based seller.

Though I feel like a big dork showing this off, I'm going to do it anyhow.

I made a good omens charm and pin display board. It was a little hard to find something I could work with because I'm not really fond of the way cork-board looks. After going to four different places I was able to locate a large canvas pin-board at Michael's craft store of all places. It started out with a distressed white painted frame, but I wasn't into it so I broke out the gold leafing paint and went over it, then lightly distressing it once more so that you could see the wood-grain. It's hard to tell that it's gold foil paint in the picture due to the lighting, but it's sort of a darker antiqued copper-toned gold. I ended up using the better part of half of the jar but have no regrets about that.

I went and bought a black wrought-iron curtain rod and then found a nice large looking galaxy scarf to work with, and gold tieback. The only minor thing I don't care for about this scarf is that it has white seaming for some reason. You wouldn't believe the amount of fluffing and fussing it took to get it to lay like that. I have never in my life ever tried to have anything that draped “pretty” so there was a lot of wide-eyed contemplation, snarling, and cussing involved in the process. I think that bit took about an hour in total.  

Underneath I used a black piece of fabric to help pad it out a bit, and two strands of tiny clear LED sting lights. They're just on solid in the pictures so I could get a proper picture of them, but they have a slow twinkling setting that is very nice, and if you get them going at different intervals it really does look like twinkling stars out in the background. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out overall.
