I'm not an aquarius, but I'm really into one atm. Do you prefer to initiate texts/hang-outs etc. or do you like it if the other person texts first? What do you feel like if the person you like texts you first now and then?

I strongly, STRONGLY prefer to be contacted first. I actually prefer it to be this way 100% of the time, at least in the beginning, until I have built a trust in their interest in me. For some reason I'm always constantly convincing myself that the people who like me have changed their minds about me, and I rationalize this by going, "well, if they really liked me, they would try to get ahold of me and see what's up, so since they aren't texting me they must not be interested," which I know is a stupid rationalization because wouldn't that also apply to me?? And I suppose if I really like someone I will be the first to contact them...frequently, actually, if necessary. But that has to be a biiiiig ol' crush where I literally cannot resist the urge. Forging relationships with new people, or forging new types of relationships with established people (in our lives) is very difficult for Aquarians in the beginning. Once we get into the stride of things it's wonderful and smooth and fantastic. I feel like we make awesome friends and amazing lovers once we're comfortable, but it usually takes a while for us to get to that point of confidence and security in a relationship. Like a loooong while.
