03. Overstimulating you with his fingers
04. That was the sight, pro!Kuroko saw when he got home. You hadn't even realized he was home, and he didn't dare interrupt you moaning his name—touching yourself imagining it's his fingers.
05. Foreplay with Kuroko, and he is so painfully slow, just to tease you.

Seirin fanart for new year because they're all goated and Seirin is my favorite team ever ✌️✌️✌️✌️🫶🫶💖💖 I tried multiple times to draw Nigou in this fanart but couldn't cuz it always turned out weird 😭 I have no skill in drawing dogs
Oh and uh, Christmas fanart that I forgot to post on thay day omg 😭😭😭
the restaurant was cozy, the kind of place where the smell of grilled meat mixed with a faint sweetness from dessert displays and the hum of chatter created a strange but comfortable warmth.
seirin had taken over one corner of the room, the clatter of chopsticks and laughter bouncing between the team.
kuroko sat quietly, picking at his food, eyes calm and unreadable, while kagami leaned forward, his hands wrapped around his drink like it might explode with excitement. hyūga was already half-way through explaining why his christmas was “definitely going to involve too much chocolate,” kiyoshi nodded along with exaggerated seriousness, and koganei was debating whose idea for christmas decorations was better—and, apparently, speaking the thoughts that mitobe wasn’t saying. riko, ever watchful, occasionally tilted her head like she was bracing for chaos.
“sooo,” kiyoshi said, voice cutting through the chatter, “kuroko. what are your christmas plans this year?”
the table went quiet for just a fraction of a second, the kind that makes you feel like someone just dropped a snowball on your head. kuroko’s gaze drifted somewhere beyond the room, somewhere quiet, before he said in his usual flat tone, “i don’t have any. i usually treat christmas like any other day.”
the words hit the team like a stray volleyball—unexpected and impossible to ignore. kagami’s fork froze mid-air. “wait… what?? seriously??”
“you’re telling me the phantom passer of seirin… the man who can vanish on the court… spends christmas like it’s a Tuesday?” hyūga said, mock horror in his voice, leaning back in his chair.
“that’s… kinda sad,” kiyoshi added, shaking his head. “you can’t just ignore christmas. even a phantom deserves presents.”
koganei, tilting his head toward mitobe, added thoughtfully, “mitobe thinks kuroko doesn’t even know what to do for christmas, and that’s kind of concerning.”
kuroko blinked once, expression unchanged, and simply said, “i know what christmas is.”
riko sighed, putting a hand to her forehead. “kuroko, please don’t tell me you’re going to let this holiday pass by in silence. we’ve got enough chaos around here already.”
“well,” kagami said, grinning, “we can’t just let it be that way this year. everyone’s going to have fun—even you, kuroko.”
the table erupted into plans and suggestions: secret santa, movie nights, decorating a tree, eating way too many sweets, impromptu karaoke… kuroko listened quietly, but there was the tiniest twitch of the corner of his mouth whenever they got excited.
“why don’t we just have a little christmas party at my place?” riko suggested, cutting through the chaos like a whistle. “we can decorate a tree, cook a few things… everyone can come. and kuroko won’t be left out like a lonely ghost.”
“that… sounds okay,” kuroko said softly, and somehow the table went quiet just enough for someone to notice the word “okay” sounded like a tiny miracle.
before anyone could launch into another round of suggestions, kuroko’s phone buzzed against the table. he picked it up, glancing at the screen. “momoi,” he murmured.
the team froze, because momoi. of all people. the girl who used to throw balls at him in middle school and smile a little too much whenever he passed to her. he answered, calm and clipped. “hello?”
“kuroko! i… i need a huge favor!” momoi’s voice was frantic, panicked, almost comically so. “i’m at my grandparents’ place for christmas, and… my sister, y/n, she’s arriving at the train station any minute, and i completely forgot that i couldn’t pick her up! i didn’t even tell her i wouldn’t be there. please… can you go get her?”
kuroko’s expression didn’t change, but he calmly replied, “i’ll go. i’ll pick her up.”
“ohhh thank you, thank you so much! you’re amazing!” momoi squeaked, relief and panic fighting in her voice. “she’s going to be so confused if no one’s there… you’re literally saving christmas!”
“it’s no problem,” kuroko reassures before he hung up, slipping the phone back into his pocket, and immediately looked at the team.
the team immediately exploded into questions. “wait—what just happened?” kagami asked, eyebrows raised.
“momoi is with her grandparents for christmas. her twin sister, y/n, is arriving at the train station, and she has no one to meet her. she asked me to pick her up. i have never met her before.” kuroko explains.
“momoi… has a twin sister?” hyūga said, leaning forward, eyes wide.
“and you’ve never met her?” kiyoshi added.
“yup,” kuroko said calmly. “i’m going to pick her up at the station.”
“wait… so momoi’s… twin is arriving, and we’re all just finding out now?” koganei said, speaking mitobe’s thoughts out loud, “mitobe thinks it’s kind of unbelievable that kuroko has never met her before and is surprised it took this long to find out.”
riko leaned back, crossing her arms and smirking. “so kuroko, your christmas plans just turned into… mysterious sister retrieval? sounds like a fun start to the season.”
kuroko tilted his head slightly, the faintest twitch at the corner of his mouth. “yes.”
the team exchanged excited, dramatic looks at each other, already imagining the chaos and fun that was about to unfold. little did they know, the quiet rhythm of kuroko’s day was about to be upended by someone completely unexpected—momoi’s twin, y/n, who would arrive and turn this calm, quiet phantom passer’s christmas into something entirely new.
. 𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🎄 . 𖥔 ݁ ˖
the train station smelled faintly of metal and warm bread from the nearby bakery, mixed with the crisp winter air that snuck in through the doors. kuroko walked steadily, calm as ever, flanked by kagami, koganei, kiyoshi, izuki, and hyūga—all of them buzzing with barely-contained excitement. it was a mission, but somehow it already felt like chaos in motion.
“okay, so let me get this straight,” kagami said, scratching the back of his neck and glancing at kuroko, “we’re all supposed to go with you to pick up… uh, your mystery girl, right?”
“yup,” kuroko said simply, hands in his coat pockets, eyes forward.
“but how are we supposed to know who she is?” kagami asked, voice rising slightly, “you’ve never seen her before!”
kuroko’s gaze stayed calm, but his voice was quiet and matter-of-fact. “she has seen me. i have not seen her. somehow, she’s always managed to be invisible to me. i can sense her, but she moves so subtly that i’ve never landed an eye on her.”
the rest of the team froze for a second, processing that. hyūga let out a low whistle. “wow… our phantom has been out-phantomed.”
izuki smirked, elbowing hyūga. “yeah, the phantom phantomed. he’s been… phantomed. get it?”
hyūga groaned, shaking his head. “oh no, you did not just make a dad joke.”
koganei, meanwhile, was bouncing slightly on his toes, practically vibrating with excitement. “so… we’re watching kuroko get out-phantomed in real life? this is too good.”
“and we’re going to make sure nothing bad happens,” kiyoshi added, clapping a hand to his other shoulder.
the loud rumble of the train rolling into the station made everyone straighten up, and the platform swarmed with people hurrying to and from the station. the six of them scanned the crowd, eyes sharp, hearts beating a little faster—not that kuroko looked any different, of course. he simply walked forward, quiet and steady, as if he were a shadow melting through the light.
the train screeches to a halt, brakes squealing against the tracks, and you step off carefully, pulling your skirt down and brushing a strand of hair behind your ear. the cold winter air greets you like an invisible hug, carrying with it the faint smells of metal and fresh bread from a nearby bakery. you pause for a moment, scanning the crowd, your eyes catching a group of boys standing together on the platform—kuroko in the middle, calm as ever, and a few others clustered around him, clearly buzzing with their own energy.
your gaze lands on him, and you can’t help the small, subtle smile that tugs at your lips. he’s standing there, quiet and straight-backed, like a shadow that has somehow become the center of attention. you’ve seen him before, watched him from afar, but somehow he’s never noticed you. you step forward deliberately, letting him sense you, letting him feel your presence—but never letting him land an eye on you until now.
and then—time seems to slow.
the moment your eyes meet his, everything else blurs. the bustling crowd fades away, the sounds of chatter and footsteps melt into nothing, and for a heartbeat, it’s just the two of you. the smallest flicker of recognition crosses his face, almost imperceptible, but you can feel it, sharp and electric, like a current brushing past your skin.
kagami is beside him, and you notice his face heating instantly. he coughs into his hand, flustered, completely unable to look away. hyūga, kiyoshi, and izuki are all subtly flushed as well, and izuki even mutters something you can’t quite catch, but you catch the faint smirk at the corners of his mouth. koganei is practically vibrating on the spot, eyes wide, leaning forward as if he could somehow reach you from here. it makes you smirk, quiet amusement bubbling up inside.
you walk toward them, slow and steady, pulling your scarf just a little tighter and adjusting your hair again. as you approach, your eyes flick around at the others, noting the chaos of excitement behind kuroko, before settling back on him.
“hello,” you say softly but clearly, letting your voice carry just enough to cut through the ambient noise. “i’m y/n. momoi’s sister.”
kuroko blinks, and you see—just for a moment—his usual calm falter. the air around him seems to catch in his lungs, a sudden hitch as if someone had punched him in the gut. yet his voice remains steady when he answers.
“hello… y/n.”
you notice the faint twitch of his mouth, a tiny crack in the stoic mask he wears. your lips curve in a small, satisfied smile—you’ve always found him impossible to read, and yet now, just a tiny bit, he’s human.
behind him, the boys continue their quiet chaos. kagami is completely flustered, hyūga and kiyoshi are whispering and muttering, izuki is smirking at his own joke, and koganei… well, you can see the way he’s practically drooling, caught entirely by your presence. it makes you chuckle softly, but your attention never leaves kuroko.
in that instant, as you stand there, just far enough to be out of his immediate reach, something unspoken passes between you. the quiet rhythm of his life, his phantom-like existence, has shifted—your arrival has stirred something he’s never known, and even though he doesn’t show it on the surface, you feel it radiating from him, a quiet intensity that pins you to the spot and makes the world narrow to just this one moment.
kuroko walks beside you with his usual quiet calm, hands tucked neatly into his coat pockets, while the rest of the team trails behind a few steps, practically vibrating with excitement. “you can stay at riko’s place for now,” kuroko says, voice even but considerate. “she’s the only other girl we spend time with regularly. she’s already set up a room for you. the others went ahead to help with preparations—they’ve made a warm welcome for you.”
you laugh softly, the sound light and amused, and glance at him. “well… thank you for picking me up,” you say simply, shoulders relaxing. “i appreciate it.”
“momoi mentioned you might come,” you continue, still smiling, “but she completely forgot about me this year. she said she wasn’t sure if i’d even come down. apparently twins don’t always communicate properly.” you chuckle at the thought, shaking your head slightly.
izuki, ever observant, glances at you and comments casually, “despite being twins, you two look nothing alike.”
you laugh at that, a soft, airy sound. “yeah… it’s strange, isn’t it?” you agree, glancing back toward the boys and kuroko. “i guess momoi and i share personality traits, but… we somehow have almost nothing in common at the same time. it’s like we’re not even twins, and yet… somehow, we always find ways to stay connected.”
kuroko’s calm eyes glance at you briefly, and for the first time, there’s a tiny flicker of something more—interest, curiosity, perhaps admiration—before he turns his attention back to the path ahead. the rest of the team continues to chatter behind you, seemingly hanging on your every word.
as you walk, the city lights shimmer on the snow-dusted sidewalks, and your conversation drifts naturally between casual observations, little anecdotes about momoi, and hints of your own interests. despite revealing pieces of yourself, you can sense that, to them, you’re still something of a mystery—your quiet confidence and easy smile don’t give much away.
. 𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🎄 . 𖥔 ݁ ˖
finally, you arrive at riko’s house. the front door opens before you can even knock, and warm light spills onto the steps. the team ushers you inside with exaggerated enthusiasm, almost tripping over themselves to make sure you feel welcome. riko stands in the doorway, smiling broadly.
“welcome,” she says warmly, brushing imaginary snow from her sleeve. “i’m riko. i’ve prepared a room for you—you can set up however you like. mitobe is still cooking, so your food will be ready soon. make yourself at home.”
you nod politely, giving a small smile. “thank you,” you say softly. “this is really kind of you.”
you head toward the room, pulling your coat tighter around yourself, and koganei immediately turns to kuroko with wide eyes, nearly shouting, “how do you know all the hot chicks?! seriously, man, every girl around you is stunning!”
riko smirks from the doorway, hands on her hips. “be careful, koganei—the walls are thin, and everyone’s still curious about our new guest,” she teases.
you can hear faint murmurs behind you from the others, but you don’t mind. despite the brief details you’ve shared during the walk—about momoi, about your personality—you can tell they’re still trying to figure you out. a quiet mystery clings to you naturally, one you’re perfectly content letting them ponder for a while.
kuroko walks silently behind you, hands still in his pockets, the faintest hint of a twitch at the corner of his mouth betraying his calm exterior. as you enter your temporary room, you can feel the quiet intensity in his gaze, even though he doesn’t say a word. the rest of the team continues to chatter and tease, but for you and kuroko, the moment stretches—subtle, unexpected, and quietly charged with a promise of something new.
you finally settle into your temporary room, hanging up your coat and shrugging off your scarf. the warm light of riko’s house makes everything feel soft and cozy, a stark contrast to the winter chill outside. from the hallway, you can hear the team bustling about—kagami, hyūga, izuki, kiyoshi, and koganei all talking, laughing, and teasing each other like hyperactive children.
“so, is this our secret santa?” hyūga calls out, glancing toward you as you peek around the corner.
“she’s definitely got to play,” koganei adds, practically bouncing in place, “and kuroko better not ghost her like he does in basketball—look at him trying to stay calm, it’s hilarious.”
you can’t help but chuckle softly, amused at the way they’re all so energetic and chaotic. kuroko, standing slightly apart, maintains his usual calm, but you notice—just barely—the faint twitch of his mouth when koganei says that. it makes you grin, just a little.
koganei is still practically vibrating, making little comments under his breath about how he’s going to be watching kuroko and y/n like a hawk. hyūga teases kuroko quietly, “don’t let her see your phantom side too soon. she might get scared.”
kuroko’s eyes briefly flick toward you, calm and unreadable as always, but the subtle way he shifts his stance gives away the tiniest hint of attentiveness. you notice it, but only allow yourself a small, satisfied smile, letting him stew in his quiet fascination.
after a few more moments of playful chaos—koganei nearly tripping over himself while pointing out small details about your hair, hyūga and izuki whispering jokes that you can’t help but overhear—kuroko quietly excuses himself. you see him walk toward the kitchen, hands in pockets, still calm, still phantom-like, yet somehow drawn toward the warmth of the house—and maybe something else entirely.
you don’t see the conversation that happens next, but it’s impossible not to imagine the tension building in the kitchen.
. 𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🎄 . 𖥔 ݁ ˖
kuroko pours himself a simple glass of water, and finds kagami leaning casually against the counter, arms crossed, watching him with that unnerving mix of curiosity and amusement. “so,” kagami says casually, “you ever… feel anything for anyone? or are you just a basketball machine?”
kuroko tilts his head slightly, voice quiet but firm. “just because i don’t express things… doesn’t mean i don’t feel them.”
a few moments of silence pass as kagami watches him, unflinching. finally, kagami leans closer, smirking knowingly. “look, man… you’re obviously whipped for y/n.”
kuroko freezes mid-sip, water halfway to his mouth, eyes widening slightly. “what…? explain.”
kagami smirks wider. “i’ve seen the way you look at her. the way you notice her without anyone else even realizing. you listen when she talks, you… i don’t know, the way you’re careful around her, quiet in a way that’s not normal. you’re acting different than usual, phantom or not. come on, man, it’s obvious.”
kuroko remains silent, still processing, the calm exterior barely holding. kagami leans back, shrugging slightly. “look, i can help if you want. give you pointers, what to do, what not to do…”
kuroko finally speaks, voice soft and steady. “what do you know about girls?”
“more than you!” kagami shoots back, exasperated. “i know enough to see what’s going on right in front of me!”
kuroko tilts his head slightly, a hint of that phantom calm in his posture. “i’ll just let it play out.”
kagami opens his mouth to argue further, but seeing kuroko’s unwavering expression, he sighs and mutters, “man, you’re impossible…”
outside the kitchen, the muffled laughter of you and the team continues, warm and chaotic, as if the whole house itself is conspiring to make kuroko’s quiet phantom heart beat just a little faster.
“kagami. kuroko.” riko’s voice cuts cleanly through the noise of laughter and clinking dishes. “stop hiding in the kitchen and get over here. it’s decorating time.”
kagami groans like he’s been sentenced to manual labor, dragging his feet as he follows kuroko back into the living room. boxes of decorations are scattered everywhere—tinsel spilling over the coffee table, strands of lights tangled together like a crime scene, ornaments clinking softly as koganei rummages through them with way too much enthusiasm.
“alright,” riko claps her hands once, eyes sharp and pleased. “assignments. hyūga and izuki, tree duty. kiyoshi, you’re on garlands. kagami, you’re hanging the big stuff—no breaking anything. koganei, you’re… supervised chaos.”
“that’s not a role!” koganei protests.
“it is in this house,” riko replies flatly.
then her gaze shifts to you and kuroko, and something subtle curls at the edge of her smile.
“y/n and kuroko,” she says, pointing toward a box of lights and silver tinsel, “you two can handle the doorframes. lights first, then tinsel. start with the hallway.”
koganei’s head snaps up immediately. “ohhh? interesting pairing.”
hyūga sighs. “don’t start.”
you glance at kuroko, amused, and he nods slightly. “understood.”
you pick up one end of the lights while kuroko gathers the other, your fingers brushing briefly as you untangle the wire. it’s small, almost nothing, but you notice the way his hand stills for half a second before continuing.
the hallway is quieter than the living room, warm light casting soft shadows as you stretch the lights along the frame. kuroko reaches up to secure one end, movements careful and precise.
“thank you again,” you say gently, breaking the comfortable silence. “for picking me up. and for… all of this.”
“it wasn’t a problem,” kuroko replies. “i’m glad you came.”
the words are simple, but something about the way he says them makes your chest warm.
as you move from one doorframe to the next, the conversation comes easily—little things at first. how long you’ll be staying. how cold the winters have been lately. how noisy the team is when they’re together.
“they’re… lively,” you say with a soft laugh as koganei’s voice echoes from the living room, dramatically narrating the tree’s “emotional journey.”
kuroko nods. “yes. they are very loud.”
you smile at that, glancing up at him as you reach for the tinsel. “you don’t mind it?”
“…no,” he says after a moment. “i like being around them.”
you hum thoughtfully as you wrap the tinsel around the frame, standing a little closer now. “momoi used to say that about you. that you liked being part of something, even if you stayed quiet.”
his eyes flick toward you, surprised—just slightly. “she said that?”
“yeah,” you say. “she talks about you a lot.”
there’s a pause, the kind that’s gentle rather than awkward. kuroko secures the last light, his fingers brushing yours again, and this time neither of you pulls away immediately.
the last doorframe is near the living room, close enough that kiyoshi can see you both clearly. as you step back to check your work, kiyoshi’s laugh booms warmly through the house.
“ohhh?” he grins, pointing. “looks like kuroko and y/n are caught under the mistletoe!”
everything freezes.
koganei whips around. “WAIT—WHAT?!”
hyūga groans. “of course.”
izuki adjusts the lights on the tree. “honestly speaking, this was inevitable.”
you look up.
right above you, hanging just slightly crooked, is a small sprig of mistletoe you’re positive wasn’t there a second ago.
your breath catches—not dramatically, but enough that you feel it. you glance at kuroko.
he’s already looking at you.
for once, he doesn’t look invisible. his eyes are wide, attentive, and there’s something unguarded there—something soft and startled, like he didn’t expect to be seen at all.
the room holds its breath.
and for the first time since you arrived, it feels like christmas has truly begun.
for a moment, the world narrows.
the noise from the living room fades into something distant, muffled, as you and kuroko stand beneath the mistletoe. the lights twined around the doorway glow softly, reflecting in his eyes. he hesitates—just barely—before taking a small step closer, movements careful, deliberate, like he’s afraid of startling you.
you tilt your head up without even realizing it, heart beating just a little faster. the space between you shrinks, breath mingling, the air warm despite the winter outside. his gaze flickers to your lips for the briefest second, then back to your eyes, as if asking permission without words.
and just as you both begin to lean in—
“ALRIGHT!” izuki’s voice cuts through the moment like a whistle. “important announcement! it’s time to put the star on the tree!”
the spell shatters.
koganei groans loudly. “you have got to be kidding me.”
kagami blinks, then squints. “wait, what star?”
hyūga exhales sharply through his nose. “izuki, your timing is terrible.”
you pull back instinctively, cheeks warm, heart still racing, while kuroko straightens just as quickly, face carefully neutral again—though if anyone were paying close attention, they might notice the faintest pink at the tips of his ears.
the attention shifts completely as izuki lifts the star from the table, holding it up dramatically. riko steps forward, hands on her hips, eyes softening as she looks at you.
“y/n should do it,” she says decisively. “she’s far from home this christmas. it feels right.”
there’s a beat of silence.
then kiyoshi smiles warmly. “yeah. i like that.”
“agreed,” hyūga nods.
“makes sense to me,” kagami adds.
“obviously,” koganei says, already ushering you toward the tree like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
you blink, surprised, then laugh softly, touched. “are you sure?”
“100%,” riko says. “go on.”
you step forward, taking the star carefully in your hands. the lights on the tree twinkle as you reach up, stretching just a little to place it at the top. the room feels still, reverent, as if everyone is holding their breath.
when you finally set it in place, the star gleams.
for a second, you just stare at it.
then—clap.
and another.
soon everyone is applauding, cheering softly, some laughing, some grinning wide. you even clap along with them, warmth spreading through your chest as the realization settles in.
the decorations are finished.
christmas has officially arrived.
“alright!” riko announces, clapping her hands together with renewed energy. “decorations done means it’s game time!”
koganei lights up immediately. “games?! i was born ready!”
riko grins, already reaching for another box. “christmas ones, obviously. we’ll vote.”
as the team erupts into excited chatter—suggestions flying everywhere—you feel a presence beside you.
kuroko.
he doesn’t say anything at first, just stands close enough that your sleeves brush. then, quietly, so only you can hear, he speaks.
“…thank you for putting the star up.”
you glance at him, smiling softly. “thank you for letting me.”
his eyes linger on you for just a moment longer than before.
and even though the kiss never happened, the promise of it hangs in the air—gentle, patient, and waiting.
. 𖥔 ݁ ˖ 🎄 . 𖥔 ݁ ˖
the night dissolves into laughter.
it starts with games that are loud and chaotic—christmas charades that koganei turns into full-body theater, kagami shouting wrong answers with complete confidence, izuki making terrible puns that earn groans instead of points, and kiyoshi laughing so hard he has to sit down. even mitobe, silent as ever, moves around the room with quiet efficiency, setting snacks within reach like he’s supporting the chaos rather than participating in it.
time slips by unnoticed. at some point, the room grows warmer, softer, the edges of energy rounding out into something mellow. one by one, the noise begins to fade.
hyūga is the first to call it, slumping against the couch with a tired sigh. “i’m done. you all win.”
izuki follows soon after, christmas glasses slipping as he dozes off mid-sentence.
kagami tries to insist he’s still awake, eyes half-lidded, before tipping sideways and knocking into kiyoshi, who just laughs and lets him stay there.
koganei is the last to fight it, mumbling commentary until his words blur together and finally trail off into sleep.
eventually, it’s quiet.
not empty—just peaceful.
the lights on the tree glow low and steady, the clock ticking softly on the wall. you glance around the room, heart warm at the sight of everyone scattered in various states of sleep.
“…guess everyone tapped out,” you murmur.
kuroko sits across from you on the floor, the board game laid out between you, pieces barely moved now. he looks around too, then nods. “it appears so. before midnight.”
you laugh quietly, shaking your head. “kind of impressive, honestly.”
“they used all of their energy earlier,” he says. “strategically inefficient.”
you grin at that, nudging a game piece forward. “your turn, phantom strategist.”
he moves his piece carefully, then looks up at you. the laughter fades—not abruptly, but naturally—leaving something heavier behind.
silence stretches.
not uncomfortable.
charged.
you glance at the clock again, then exhale softly. “it’s… really late.”
“…yes,” kuroko agrees.
neither of you moves to stand.
the house feels different now—smaller, quieter, wrapped in the glow of christmas lights and the steady rhythm of shared breathing. your knees are drawn close, sleeves brushing as you reach for the dice, fingers trembling just slightly.
“can i ask you something?” you say after a moment.
he nods. “of course.”
you hesitate, then meet his eyes. “kagami mentioned to me that back at the station… you said you could sense me. even though you’d never seen me.”
his gaze sharpens, attentive. “yes.”
you swallow. “i used to see you all the time. back then. you were always there, but… you never noticed me.”
his expression softens, something thoughtful settling in. “i’m sorry.”
you shake your head quickly. “no—it’s not like that. i just think it’s funny. momoi was always so obvious. loud. bright. and i was just… nearby.”
kuroko watches you closely now, like you’re the most important thing in the room. “you’re not invisible.”
your breath catches.
“you never were,” he adds quietly.
the words hang between you, delicate and sincere. your fingers curl against the edge of the board, heart pounding so loud you’re sure he can hear it.
“…i’m glad i came,” you admit. “even if it was unplanned.”
he nods slowly. “so am i.”
another pause. longer this time.
his hand shifts—just slightly—resting closer to yours on the floor. not touching. close enough to feel the warmth.
the clock ticks.
the lights flicker softly.
everything feels like it’s balancing on the edge of something inevitable.
and neither of you looks away.
the silence stretches again, thinner now, fragile like glass.
you don’t know who moves first—only that the space between you and kuroko feels suddenly too small and impossibly large at the same time. your shoulders tilt inward, knees shifting just slightly closer, and kuroko mirrors you without thinking, as if gravity itself is pulling him forward.
his breathing is quiet. steady. close.
you can feel it when he leans in, slow and careful, like he’s giving you every chance to pull away. your heart is pounding so loudly it feels reckless, like it might wake the entire house.
and then—
krrrk—snrrrk—
kagami twitches violently on the couch, letting out an impressively loud snore.
you jolt in surprise before clapping a hand over your mouth, laughter bubbling up despite yourself. it slips out anyway, soft and breathless, shaking your shoulders as you try to keep it quiet.
but when you look back—
kuroko is right there.
centimeters away.
your laughter dies instantly.
his face is close enough that you can see the faint reflection of the christmas lights in his eyes, the soft rise and fall of his chest, the way his lips part slightly as he exhales. he hasn’t pulled away. if anything, he’s leaned closer.
your breath catches.
for once, he doesn’t retreat into silence.
he lowers his voice, barely above a whisper, meant only for you.
“…we still didn’t have our mistletoe kiss.”
your brain short-circuits.
heat floods your face, your ears, your chest. you open your mouth, then close it again, heart racing at the quiet certainty in his tone. he isn’t teasing. he isn’t unsure. he’s calm—decisive—in that way that makes it feel inevitable.
he doesn’t say will you.
he doesn’t say do you want to.
he just waits.
your fingers curl into the fabric of your sleeve, breath shallow, eyes locked on his. the forgotten board game lies between you, pieces scattered and meaningless now, the world narrowed down to this moment and the soft glow of christmas lights.
you nod.
just once.
that’s all it takes.
kuroko leans in slowly, giving you time even now, until his forehead brushes yours. your noses touch, and you feel his breath stutter—just barely—before his lips meet yours.
the kiss is gentle.
warm.
soft in a way that makes your chest ache.
it’s not rushed, not clumsy. his lips move against yours like he’s been thinking about this longer than he lets on, like he’s memorizing the feeling. one hand lifts hesitantly, hovering before resting lightly against your side, grounding himself—and you.
you melt into it, fingers curling into the front of his hoodie, heart fluttering as the kiss deepens just enough to make your head spin.
outside, the snow continues to fall.
inside, christmas lights glow quietly.
and sitting there on the floor, surrounded by sleeping teammates and unfinished games, the mistletoe kiss finally happens—soft, sincere, and full of everything you haven’t said yet.
when you pull back, foreheads still touching, neither of you speaks.

you forced him to give you a piggyback ride one time, he never did it again when he slipped and you two fell

Hi uh not sure if you're taking requests but-! If you are, could I request a "Kuroko X Female reader"
Ive had an idea for a while about this plot where reader ignores Kuroko after Riko asks for her help to train their team since reader was friends with Riko for a while. Leading to Kuroko coming out his shell a little to try and annoy reader!
Thanks! :D
Hiii my love! IM SO SORRY THIS TOOK A WHILE. I was trying to come up with the best plot ever based on this for you. But I really hope you liked it! Thank you so much for this request it was tremendously fun to write. I apologize if there's any errors <3

Seirin’s gym always was always loud. Sneakers screeching against the floor, the smack of the ball against the gym floor, the boys all beaming with energy, enjoying the sport they all love and cherish so much.
You usually loved to watch the boys practice. Not only because one of your best friends Riko Aida trained the team, but because it was genuinely so intriguing to see people playing a sport they genuinely enjoy.
As you watched, a voice cut your focus from the game. "Y/N"
You didn’t need to look to know who it was, his quiet voice was unmistakable. You glanced anyway, greeted by calm blue eyes and a small smile.
“Tetsuya,” you hummed, bumping his shoulder. “You scared me.”
“I was sitting here for three minutes,” Kuroko replied, tone flat as ever. “You just didn’t notice.” You pouted. “Don’t bully me. My senses are all focused on this game."
He blinked once. “Then I'll wait for the game to finish."
Sometimes, everyone forgot Kuroko existed half the time. But you never did. Usually in Seirin's basketball games, Kagami was known to be the light. The one that shines the brightest. But Kuroko, even though he was a shadow. Kuroko was almost as bright as Kagami. Not in a conventional way. But in the way they both are passionate about the game. You always admired Kuroko especially for that. Kuroko was not your typical buffed up athlete, but he managed to put so much effort to find a style that he became such a valuable asset to his team. You admired him tremendously.
“Y/N!” Your thoughts were cut off as you
turned to see Riko approach you with that determined glare she always wore.
“Uh oh,” you muttered to Kuroko. “Here she comes.”
“Good luck,” he said, with the gentlest hint of sympathy. Riko stopped in front of you, one hand on her hip and the other clutching onto something.
"Y/N..I need your help.”
You straightened. “Oh no...what do I or what did I do?”
Riko always used that tone when she was about to drag you into something, or when she wanted to interrogate you about stealing her clothes. She then chuckled as she shoved the massive binder she held into your hands. “I need you to help me train the team.”
Your eyes widened. “Huh?! Me?!"?
“Yes you! You know basketball. You know my brain. And to be honest...it's getting kind of stressful to balance the team and my own life..."
You flipped through the binder, pages of drills, strategies, stamina charts.
"I can see how this would stress you out Riko...you really should've came to me sooner about this." She sighed dramatically. "I KNOWWW.." you then smiled as you looked toward the court, Kagami practicing jump shots, Kiyoshi laughing, Izuki probably spilling a few puns Hyuga telling him to shut up and just a little beside you..
"What do you think, Y/N?” Kurok asked gently with eyes filled of curiosity. “Would you like to?”
You then smiled placing the binder down. Looking at Riko then at Kuroko you said with a laugh.
“Guess you could call me the new assistant coach!"
“More like co-torturer,” Riko grinned.
“That sounds illegal.” You added
“Only morally.”
。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・
“Alright everyone, listen up!” Riko announced as she tossed you a whistle.
Everyone turned to look at you and Riko.
“Y/N will be helping me with training from now on. When she says run, you run. When she says drop, you drop. When she yells-"
“I’m not that bad,” you muttered.
“YES YOU ARE,” Hyuga shouted, adjusting his glasses. “Don’t let that innocent face fool you. She's terrifying when she wants to be!” He said pointing at you
Izuki nodded. “Yep... still get nightmares about that one time in middle school where yo-.”
You placed your hand over Izuki's mouth. "Alright that's enough."
After that little introduction, Riko then explained what was to be done.
When the boys coursed off into action. You smiled to yourself. You were finally no longer on the sidelines and instead you stood side by side with Riko stopwatch in hand, yelling instructions, adjusting Kagami’s footwork, forcing Izuki to sprint and keeping an eye on Kiyoshi’s knee.
“Again!” you said. “If you can complain, you can run!”
Riko beamed proudly. “You’re so good at this! This makes me wonder why I didn't ask you sooner.”
You laughed, adrenaline buzzing. It felt good to help. To be useful. To be part of this-
“You should drink some water, Y/N.”
You flinched at the sudden voice. But you knew exactly who it was.
Kuroko then held out your water bottle.
“Oh-thanks.” You grabbed it. “You scared me again.”
“I called your name three times.”
“You did?” You blinked. “Sorry, I was… focused.”
He watched you quietly. His gaze dropped to the whistle on your chest, then to the binder clutched under your arm.
“Are you enjoying it here?” he asked.
You looked out at the team, panting, running, complaining.
A smile tugged at your lips. “Yeah. I really am.”
Riko shouted your name, waving a clipboard wildly.
“I gotta go,” you said quickly. “We’ll talk after practice, okay?”
You ran off before he could reply.
Kuroko watched your back, the whistle bouncing, the binder pressed to your chest, your voice overlapping with Riko’s.
You hadn’t stopped seeing him completely.
Not yet.
。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・The days blended together quickly after that. Every practice always had two commanding voices carrying across the court. The sharp sound of your whistle, the sound of your sneakers as you rushed from one player to the next. You were everywhere at once, adjusting, correcting, pushing the team harder than they expected.
They groaned. They complained. But they really did love you as their assistant coach. As for Kuroko..maybe a part of him didn't enjoy this whole assistant coach gig as much as he'd thought.
At first, he told himself it was wrong to not enjoy it. You were there for the benefit of the team including him. He admired and he respected it. You were doing exactly what Riko hoped you’d do, becoming a force of discipline and encouragement, a second backbone to Seirin.
But every time he approached you, something interrupted.
A clipboard shoved in your hands.
A drill you had to adjust.
One of the boys alerting you of some soreness. Izuki making another pun you needed to scold him for.
And Kuroko would stand there, silent as ever, waiting for your eyes to find him.
Sometimes they did. But only when one of you needed assistance.
So with this realization.
He started appearing more.
One moment you would turn to grab something and he’d be there quiet, offering it to you before you even asked.
Another time you’d look for the binder, only to realize it was already in his hands, held out to you without a word.
He trailed behind you as often as practice could allow him. But you were ignorant to it.
Your head was full of schedules and Riko’s relentless energy.
So you started slipping past him without realizing it.
Once, he tried to speak to you, but you brushed it off quickly as there was honestly, just no time to. "Teppei are you okay?!"
You ran forward as you kneeled to look at his knee. You didn’t see Kuroko pause mid step. Didn’t see the faint drop of his shoulders. Didn’t see the way he stayed in place long after you left.
He wasn’t jealous.
He told himself that repeatedly.
You were doing something important.
Something meaningful.
Something that made the whole team better.
But there had been a time where you'd constantly give him attention. You'd always see him and you'd always be with him.
Now you barely noticed when he arrived.
Or when he waited.
Or when he tried to speak.
Kuroko handled being unseen by the world.
He’d built his entire play style on it.
But being unseen by you, that was beyond different. It was personal in a way he didn’t have the words for.
。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・
One afternoon, while the team collapsed dramatically after a brutal set of sprints, you knelt beside Kagami, lecturing him about his form. Meanwhile Kuroko stood a few feet behind you. You hadn’t noticed him yet but Riko did.
She glanced at you then at him and her expression softened.
And then, quietly she called your name.
“Y/N. Someone’s waiting.”
You turned, confused, following her gaze.
That was when you saw him.
Kuroko, standing there, eyes calm but… heavier than usual.
You blinked, startled. “Oh- Tetsuya! I didn’t realize you were-"
“I know,” he said.
He stepped forward and just handed you a towel with a small bow of his head.
It was polite and respectful.
But distant.
Then, without waiting for conversation, he turned and walked away towards the boys on the court.
You stared after him, towel limp in your hands. For the first time since you joined training you felt the weight of something shifting.
Something in the air felt wrong..
On the other side of the court, Kuroko kept his focus on the practice game going on.
Even though his face was calm as he observed, a thought settled itself in his chest.
If she doesn’t notice me anymore… then I’ll make her notice me.
Watched you from across the gym with that unreadable expression, the same one he wore during games right before he stole the ball out of nowhere. Calm. Silent. Focused on a single target. This time, his target was you. And he had one goal
Make her notice me again.
The first incident was small.
You reached for your whistle during stretches… and it wasn’t there. You frowned, patting your pockets. Kagami blinked. “I swore you had it a second ago?”
“I did,” you muttered. “I swear I did-"
A soft voice spoke directly behind your shoulder.
“Are you missing this?”
You flinched so hard you dropped your clipboard.
Turning around, you found Kuroko holding your whistle between his fingers like it belonged to him.
“I picked it up,” he said calmly.
Which was a lie.
You knew it.
He knew it.
“Why… were you holding my whistle?” you asked slowly.
“It was on the floor.”
You took it back with a confused murmur of thanks, and he simply walked away.
The next day, it was your pen.
You were marking timings on the chart when your hand reached for where your pen usually rested behind your ear.
“Yes, my pen-" you grumbled, scanning the floor. Kuroko silently came beside you, holding the familiar blue pen between his fingers. “Here,” he said. “This one?”
You blinked. “…Yeah..where did you-"
“I had it.” You narrowed your eyes at him
“…Why?”
A single slow blink. “I thought you would've dropped it."
Then he placed it in your hand and walked away again.
You stared after him, completely baffled. You then turned to Hyuga who was clutching his ches “WHY DOES HE KEEP SHOWING UP LIKE A HORROR JUMPSCARE?! I WILL NEVER GET USED TO THAT."
The third time.
You were jotting down notes when Kuroko gently tapped your shoulder.
“Y/N." You looked up. “Yes, Tetsu?”
He placed his water bottle in your hand.
You froze as you looked at him confused
“…This is your water bottle.."
you said slowly.
“Yes.”
“…Why are you giving it to me?”
“You forgot yours again.”
“No I didn’t-" you checked your bag, “oh my god, I did.” You then took the water from his hand and took a sip from it.
"I drank half of it, but the rest is fine.”
You stared at him. “Tetsuya… you drank from it?!?!”
He blinked innocently. “Was that bad?"
Your heart skipped ten beats for reasons you refused to admit.
“T-That’s not the point!” you sputtered. “Why didn’t you just tell me earlier?!”
“I did,” he said. "You didn't seem to care then..so I didn't think too much of it now."
You opened your mouth then snapped it shut.
He wasn’t wrong.
You hadn’t been listening.
You took a deep breath before saying
"Okay Tetsuya… I’m really sorry.”
That made him pause.
His eyebrow lifted just slightly, not with confusion, he knew exactly what you were sorry for. But he wanted to hear you say it.
“…For what?” he asked gently.
He knew. You knew he knew.
But he wanted the words from you. And you do owe it to him.
“I’ve realized… ever since I started helping Riko with the team… we’ve been a little distant.”
Kuroko nodded.
“I noticed,” he said softly. “I missed you, Y/N. I'm sure you noticed the many small things I did to make you see me again.”
You laughed under your breath, warmth blooming in your chest. “I realized. We both know I don’t just misplace or lose things that easily.”
And with a smile you added.
“I really missed you too, Tetsu…”
He smiled like he’d been waiting days to hear those exact words. He then stepped closer, just a little. It was enough to give you the chance to pull away but you didn’t.
He let out a breath so soft you barely heard it. “I’m… relieved,” he said. “I worried that maybe I had done something wrong..”
Your eyes widened. “Tetsuya, no. Never.” You saw a linger of hesitation in his eyes before one hand lifted gently to your cheek, guiding your face toward him.
Feeling the warmth of his hand against your cheek, your breath hitched.
"Can I tell you a secret..." You nodded unable to speak. "I...was jealous." He stated, making you turn to him in shock. "Jealous-what why?!?" But his expression told you everything you needed to know before he even opened his mouth. Your face reddened but you immediately tried looking away.
“O-oh m-my- wow! I-T-Then,” you stuttered. With a deep breath and a moment to gather your words, you looked at him with a smile. “since we both missed each other… maybe... we should spend more time together outside of practice.” A small almost smirk of a smile spread on his face. "Are you asking me on a date coach?" You lightly smacked his shoulder, flustered. “Don’t call me that at a time like this-". But you were smiling, and he most definitely was too. You glanced your watch. "Practice ends in in five minutes...sure Riko wouldn't if we disappeared a little early." You then reached for his hand and he laced his fingers with yours the moment you touched him.
“Let’s go,” Kuroko gently squeezed your hand with a smile.
“Yes,” he said. “Let’s.”
。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・・。。・゚゚・
The two of you walked out of the gym hand in hand, convinced that nobody had noticed you.
But the moment the door shut, everyone literally exploded.
Hyuga ripped off his glasses. “I KNEW IT! I KNEW SOMETHING WAS GOING ON. WHY DID NONE OF YOU LISTEN TO ME!?”
Izuki put a hand on his chin. “You could say they were… invisible feelings.”
“IZUKI SHUT UP!” Hyuga yelled
Kagami looked around confused . "WHEN DID THIS START HAPPENING?!? HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN A THING-?!”
Kiyoshi gave a soft laugh as he patted Kagami's back. “It was a little obvious Kagami."
Mitobe nodded and did a gesture which
Koganei translated instantly. “Mitobe says he saw this coming from their body language.”
“WHAT BODY LANGUAGE-KUROKO DOESN’T EVEN HAVE BODY LANGUAGE!” Kagami shrieked.
Riko smirked.
“I honestly saw this coming before any of you did. And I fully approve.”
She then clapped her hands. “Yep. Now get back to practice! Got to make the most of our five minutes too."
