Mono remembers reading somewhere about how people would sometimes give flowers to a person they care about. He didn't really get why, but seeing as how it was apparently a sign about caring for someone, he ends up picking some small flowers to give to Six.

Six, being both practical and blunt, has no idea why he would've wasted his time getting these. What could she do with them? Maybe it's the thought that counts?

this is maybe a weird invasive question, but if it's not too much prying can you explain your relationship?? like i thought you were dating this one girl but is it two again? just curious but congrats omg i hope it/they go well 💜

Hey, not invasive at all, ive always been very open about my sex/relationship life on here. It’s a bit all over the place but i’ll try to explain.

So basically, I have a girl I’ve steadily been dating for like 5 months now (omg so long I didn’t realise). We’re actually not calling it a relationship yet coz I’m still getting over an abusive situation I left last year and i’m not ready to be/have a gf right now. She understands that but has also said she ideally would want us to head in that direction when we’re ready, so we’ll see.

But long story short, I first hooked up with her and another girl in a threesome months ago, then i dated both girls for a couple of months, and broke things off with the other girl when things didnt work out there. Which left me dating just the girl im with now. But both of us are interested in non-monogamy at this stage and communicate constantly about that - this is actually the most honest communication i’ve ever had with a partner and it’s so refreshing.  

So the option for us to date/hook up with others (as long as thats disclosed) is there but tbh neither of us really use it much anyway since we spend so much time together? She hooked up like one time and im going on this date but thats it. We’ve had threesomes since as well, but both of us were involved there. I guess both of us find the non-monogamy aspect to be comfortable and not restrictive, but we’re still both very focused on each other and that never changes. We are each others’ main priority always, while not holding each other back from pursuing other things which could make us happy, and that’s been really nice to explore. There’s a lot of trust between us and we both work hard at that. It’s been a genuine joy dating her and I hope I get to do it for a long time :)

Another little ramble! I've mentioned before that Mono would go feral if Six were in danger. I like to think that eventually, once she becomes attached, Six would also go feral if Mono were in danger. Nothing is allowed to happen to him.

Not a whole lot to say about this one. Mono sometimes thinks about nice it would be to get a kiss on the cheek from Six. Course if that did ever happen it would probably kill him instantly.

I also like to headcanon that whenever he's wearing his bag, he'll sometimes grab onto the edges of it when he's nervous or flustered.

It's about time I've drawn Bait actually interacting with some of the canon characters. Gotta work on exploring their relationships more! Bait also got a bit of a design tweak, though it was mostly on her jacket (and she also has some more scars on her face).

One thing Bait likes to do is talk. And talk. And talk. She loves sharing the stuff she's experienced with anyone who will listen and even those who don't want to listen. Six isn't a fan of excessive talking (Mono being the exception) and hates when Bait decides to try and talk her ears off. How can one kid talk so much? Has she even taken a breath since starting her latest monologue? When will it end?

Mono gives off big brother energy according to Bait. She's never met any kids who were siblings before, but some of the older kids on The Maw would read stories to the younger ones that had siblings in them and Mono very much fits the bill. She always feels safer with him around! Mono, in turn, sees her as a little sister of sorts.

The Kid in the Mask somehow manages to come off as intimidating without even trying. All he has to do is stand there! Maybe it's his height? Or the way he stands or something? Well, she can be intimidating too! If she appears to be taller and stares him down then surely he'll be terrified of her. Mostly though, he's just confused. Why is she staring at him like that?

Bait and The Runaway Kid bond over their experiences on The Maw. Bait never even got the chance to escape the prison area and just loves to complain about the Janitor and his stupid little smug face and grabby hands. Kidd tells her about his experience in the depths. It sounds horrifying and Bait is really glad she never saw that area. She is impressed that Kidd managed to take out the monster though!

The first time Bait and Ghost met, Ghost had asked her (in a very worried voice) if the ears and tail on her jacket were from real animals. It was actually kid of funny! But she assured them, of course not, they're part of a plush! The short conversation had Bait liking this new kid instantly.

Last night was sooo weird. 

This girl took me to an exhibition, a nice dinner, and a theatre performance and paid for our uber between, easily spending almost $200AUD before she even let me buy her a drink to say thank you. I know she was just trying to be nice but it makes me so uncomfortable to be lavished and that’s a lot of money for students our age. I spent the whole performance doing numbers in my head, thinking that if she asked me to go home with her I’d feel like I had to say yes, or that if she asked for another date I’d have to spend the same money, and it made me feel so cornered and gross and small and undeserving. 

Also what ever happened to simple first dates? Noodles and a sunset in the park is way cheaper and your date will have more fun if they’re comfortable. 

Can we just ditch the idea that you have to spend a lot of money to impress a girl in 20gayteen please.

I just came out to one of the girls I’m dating and it went really well! She asked a couple of questions but was very accepting. I’ve had this be a deal-breaker for some girls I’ve hooked up with in the past so I’m really relieved this was all fine.

So since I’m now dating not one but two vegetarians, do the Sydney people have recommendations for veggo restaurants in Surry Hills/Chippendale area? Many thanks in advance xo
