Let's not romanticise relationships. We have a Father who loves us more than any human ever can. While it may seem nice to have a Person, a relationship comes with its own set of challenges. You need extra grace, extra strength, extra love to share the burden of your sins. You'll need extra obedience and extra discipline to not stray away from God and put your Person on the pedestal. So trust in Him, whose timing is perfect and repent of any desire to seek for love anywhere apart from Him.
