Relationships;

Momo does find a lot of girl’s attractive, and despite that almost player like aura he seems to have around him, that would all change the moment he is given attention or acknowledged by woman. All in all he is extremely loyal.

The moment feelings seemed to be shared between himself and a lady, it is almost like direct tunnel vision. He will stop at nothing to pamper and impress, of course this has lead to many cases of the girl taking advantage of his chivalry.. and usually ends up breaking his heart in the end.

He does not learn however, he is a hopeless romantic and is easily blinded by what he considers ‘love.’

However,

the nature of the otter shifts ten fold when the situation is flipped and he is faced with another male who seems to have a thing for him. When he is flirted towards or shown affection by the guy, Momo’s unsure feelings cause his confidence to deflate.

He becomes super shy, and stubborn. The reason for this is still unknown to him, but it irks him to no end! As far as Momo is concerned he is completely straight and it is impossible to like other men in that way.

There are cases where he feels a little strange when being in the company of certain guys, and even direct eye contact when they smile at him is near impossible.

She may not be the easiest individual to ship with right off the bat given her baseline reclusive and shyer nature in general, part of which can be attributed to her upbringing and perhaps rather protective nature of her parents growing up. As a child and adolescent, she was studious though mainly kept to herself during her education, perhaps having one or two close friends during each phase who had come and gone as the years elapsed. From younger adulthood and onwards, she would gain more independence and go on to study both medicine as well as become a pupil of witchcraft. However, she has concealed the latter from her family due to fear of judgment and creating unnecessary drama, especially from her Maman who for all her loving nature can be quite critical and difficult to reason with when it comes to openness to the unknown. Her family is still of the belief that her feline familiar is merely a pet cat she adopted along the way who appears perhaps a bit more intelligent than the average cat. This at times can cause her to appear as a bit stiff or a tad awkward, especially in settings where numerous individuals are present. The concept of closeness to another in a non-platonic sense is one she's oft tried to imagine, though ultimately she can prove to be her own hindrance as she does not have a lot of experience in this area. As such, it can be difficult for her to be willing to let down her guard and be vulnerable with others. If she finds herself intrigued by a given person, depending on the dynamic/who it is she might begin to gradually open up more over time with repeated conversation and interactions. Banter/teasing is also another informal sort of language of affection that she employs which allows her to continue interaction without having to be upfront about her sentiments. Since the symbolism is often cited on this blog, somewhat akin to the image of a magpie plucking and pecking at another creature's fur to get its attention. For her, this is an easier method of engaging with others while also indirectly acknowledging that they are significant to her.

He doesn’t like being treated differently.

By all means, it’s only fair— it is unheard of for someone to become Prime and then, be able to renounce that title, especially after such little time.

He had been so eager to drop the title. So eager to hand back the responsibility to Optimus; the greatest autobot leader to ever live, the shadow that looms over him like a towering mountain, even now. Being Hot Rod again was mostly easy— he felt like he recharged better, those first few weeks, and it was nice to not be disturbed every passing minute.

The hard part had been to actually drop back into soldier mode. Commands still slipped past his lips before he could stop them, minor sounds still woke him up in a startle, and sometimes he’d forget his size, or his strength, or his durability. He’s forgotten how fragile he was, before the Matrix, and even more so had forgotten what it was like to follow commands and not be expected to make them.

The worst part, he thinks, was the way his friends didn’t seem as eager to slip back into their routine from before he was Prime.

Because being a leader had been so remarkably lonely, so increasingly frustrating. Springer and Rodimus still bickered, but not with the same fervor and never with the same fondness as Springer and Hot Rod. Arcee and Rodimus still looked out for each other, and still cared, but not with the same gentle care or the same eagerness as Arcee and Hot Rod. They were strangers, for a while— and that made him more isolated than ever.

It was foolish to assume they’d go back to normal once the Matrix was away from him. Once good old reckless and silly Hot Rod was once again around. It was stupid to hold out for hope.
