Cassin’s Kingbird September 8, 2021 Agua Fria, NM On of my favorite encounters was with this Cassin’s Kingbird. I first encountered it in August on 2 consecutive days. I then encountered this interesting bird a couple weeks later. I am glad I was able to capture a relatively rare bird for the area. One morning early I saw it scrounging for insects with a curved-billed thrasher.
